Good hostel I recommend.

The sheets were not clean and did not appear to have been changed. The rooms are in poor condition overall, and the premises are far from clean. It even raises doubts about whether they are cleaned at least once a week.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Room was clean and bed was already done. Accommodation per se was all right. Toilets were always busy and not clean, but last part it’s understanding it isn’t on the hostel but rather on the people who stays there. Bc I saw staff cleaning toilets pretty often during my stay.

I’d like to say a huuuuge heaps of thank you to MAX AND ALICE! Along with the whole Secret Garden Sydney Staff! 5 stars! They made sure my/our stay were good and they were all very attentive, helpful, and kind. It’s worth the money. It may not be a 5 star hotel but the kindness extended to us is 5 stars worth of service!!!!! LEGENDS!!! I will be back! See you guys! None

Perfect atmosphere, chilled stuff and managers, nice kitchen and ideal location for my plans. I met some interesting people.. thats why i like dorms.. over my bed was sprinkler. Couldnt adjust myself to this obstacle so it knock on my head quite often :D

Great clean place at a wonderful location to meet people and make friends. Not all showers were working perfectly well, but with a little patience, we made it work.

The bed was absolutely comfortable Let the garden area open. Do not barricade it at 10pm.

I wake up to a clean shower and toilet. The staff is diligent in making everything organized, and Max, the manager, was accommodating and friendly! Coles and Wollies are within walking distance. There's a nice bakery with good coffee down the street. All in all, very convenient for solo traveler like me!

The place has a really great staff and a nice outdoor area. They have large lockers, which was super helpful. Room (4 bed dorm, 1st fl) only had a fan. Saw a roach. The system for the detergent and washers/dryers kept malfunctioning.

Fantastic Staff, helped checkin while I'd just gotten in after a long flight.... While not thinking correctly............................................................................................... People are to verbose.... loose a few characters from this.... The drunk bastard that came in and turned the fan off at about midnight, The other 4 people in the room where respectful and as quiet as they could be........................................................

The room was like a sauna. Bathroom far from room and no separate bathroom for men/women

Nothing I didnt like anything about the hostel, there is no quiet time, the music at level 1 was loud even after 1am. There is no lift, and the stairs was squeezy. The shared bathroom is at level 1, it was super not convenient. The location is bad, is not near to central at all, there is no store around the hostel. Was a very bad experience overall.

The atmosphere is casual with amazing garden everyone could feel easy on this shared place even though we don’t know each other, kitchen is well equipped if you like to buy local food to cook by yourself, having freeze- dried coffee, most important for girls it’s a hair dyer there, staff are welcoming, thanks Max help me carry luggage, good location for attraction like opera house, circular quay Etc. My double layer bunk bed is attached to another which triple the wobble chance when any people on the bed is flipping

It was quite well organized. We had a private room which was basic, but clean, and had also air con (apparently we were lucky as it’s the only room with one). The backyard is nice too. I found it outrageous to have 4 rooms sharing one toilet - this is about 30 people?! Had to go down 2 flights of stairs in the middle of the night to find a loo I could use.

We liked Max! Thank you for your hospitality mate. This hostel is in a great location with good public transport connections and not too far on foot to groceries and other sundries.
