1900 Hotel

There was banging noise from garbage collection vehicles every night at awkward times. All lodgings by the sea shore in Symi would probably be effected by some kind of noise at all times because nobody seems to care much about noise. There was very disturbing construction noise at day time in all of Symi. At least this should have been avoided until the end of the tourism season.

Do you have a friend that has a house in Symi? If not, staying at this hotel is the closest thing to having one. The owner lives on the island and is a well-respected person which means you will be looked after if you mention you are staying there. He knows everything about the island, what's good, what isn't and is always there to assist. The hotel was the house of the most important benefactor of the island which has been beautifully renovated, so if you enjoy history and authenticity, this is your place. The rooms are majestic. The cleaning is top-notch. There's a bowl of fresh fruit everyday which is a nice, welcoming touch.

Stunning architecture and beautifully restored internally which provides a unique stay. Fabulous host. Loved the stunning front room with coffee, cake and fruit. Nothing everything was perfect!

Quiet waterfront location on the edge of the town, Breakfast was a help yourself table with coffee machine, which was adequate. Best things about the stay were the intimacy of the property (4 rooms), the terrace with a view of the town and the bay, and most of all, the exquisite taste of the restoration and conversion of a historic mansion into a boutique hotel.

Excellent location with amazing views of the surrounding areas. Next to Bus, Taxi and Ferry locations. Unique style rooms and facilities. Inadequate lighting in room. No TV. Above average cost for rooms.

The location is amazing right on Symi port easy level walk to property from ferry. Very tastefully renovated and the host was very welcoming

There is nothing here that disturbs the eye. On the contrary: many small beautiful details throughout the house. In general: beautiful rooms, the terraces, the seating outside of the rooms. Nice, the possibility to make tea and coffee at any time, the fruit on the table, the cakes, the biscuits. The traffic on the street from the Harbour in front of the house is not always nice for the ear.

Very friendly and helpful owner. We loved our stay... beautiful design, very close to restaurants and great for seeing all the boats come in. Big shower and room decorated nicely. Access to huge balcony with great views of Symi. Thank you Dimitris. Bit of a climb up stairs to get to hotel with luggage.

Everything was magical. Staying in such a historical mansion is an unforgettable experience. Dimitris, the owner and architect of the hotel, was extremely generous and shared some secret gems in the island that made our whole trip amazing. Everything was great.

This is an amazing heritage restoration to create an intimate boutique hotel right on the waterfront. Elegant rooms and a stunning terrace overlooking the harbour. and a generous host who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. nothing. it’s perfect.

style and ambiance. the proximity to the port. the building was magnificent. the balcony was an amazing part of the hotel. it is definitely a boutique style hotel. the service was amazing. correspondence with the owner was great. he had good suggestions for restaurants and activities. superb experience. The light in the toilet was too deem to our eyes.
