Room was VERY clean, lots of good restaurants nearby.

Would stay here again.

Nice size room for the price. Efficient A/C. Good hot/cold breakfast. Easy parking, hot coffee available 24/7 in lobby.
-
Bed was comfortable, large shower and bathroom and the room was spacious.
-
Beautiful old hotel with nice sized rooms, helpful staff & decent breakfast.

My watch jacket and sneakers were stolen they are becoming a new hotel all the construction noise, all the dirtyness except for the front desk dude the black guy I forgot his name was exceptional. Great service from him. But the manager she is nasty and horrible not only to the customer but too the staff.

Staff was good, but hotel in the middle of a major renovation. Only one elevator worked, breakfast was sub-par and there seemed to be constant guest traffic at the front desk requesting a room change. Give it a few months when Hampton takes over and it may be functional.

This property was being renovated, understandably the lobby was busy but the rooms have been finished and they are amazing, quiet, clean and modern!

We had a wonderful stay at the Parkview. I was nervous after reading some recent reviews but we have no complaints! They are undergoing extensive renovations so there is some construction noise but it didn't disturb us at all. The staff was very nice and helpful. If you're lucky, you might be greeted by an adorable pup at the front desk! Great proximity to downtown. Overall, a great stay for a very affordable price!

The hotel is undergoing renovation, and the building is 100 years old, so there are some bumps until they get that complete. However, one thing that shouldn't have been a bump was the fact that there are no cups at all in the rooms. I get thirsty at night and had to go hunting for a cup in the basement. Fortunately, they had water and cups in the gym. If you get parched at night, be sure to bring your own water bottle. The breakfast was ok. Egg "patties" and sausage patties, along with some other items. Not the worst I've seen, but definitely not the best. All in all, the hotel was ok. I will be curious to see what happens when Hampton completes the takeover and renovations.

Charming hotel built in the 20's. Currently being entirely renovated and unfortunately not keeping any of the original architectural aesthetic. Still a lovely place to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.
-
The hotel is just dirty. I understand there are constructions under way but, the carpet, inside the elevator just dirty.
-
Nothing spectacular and nothing horrible. The location is great to Syracuse University.
-
Greatest place for conventions close to the On Center.
-
Nice park-side location. About a 15 minute walk to downtown and restaurants. They have their own parking, so that is convenient. The "king size" beds seemed rather small to us.
-
Staff was very pleasant . The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent. Parking could be better especially the drive between buildings but it was a pleasant overnight stay. I will stay there again.
-
Syracuse area and much more Reasonable Prices for a room compared to hotels a few blocks over; nice view of a park across the street. For vegans the Strong Hearts restaurant is close by and walkable to get there. And, yes, there was a free breakfast; coffee, eggs, sausages, Belgian waffles, bagels, sliced breads, Oatmeal, and cold cereal. Careful when parking, as the driveway is very narrow and passing traffic is fast, so wait till the traffic goes by and swing a little wide when entering the driveway. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable of the area and great with service(s).
-
Hotel was nice except for the lack of proper air conditioning. The person at the front desk during the evenings only suggest was to unplug and replug. It was very hard to sleep in the heat. They are also doing work that made it very noisy
-
Very well maintained Hotel.
