Very basic room but perfect for a short stay. Clean, quiet, and staff was very kind and friendly. Very good value too.

Very good price on a room for 1 person / 1 night passing through Szombathely on a motorcycle trip. Nice lady at the reception, clean room with towel, comfortable bed and shower. Breakfast was ready at the table in the morning. I admired the park outside where I learned a lot about ancient Savaria, bishop martyr Quirin and related history on Upper Pannonia. There is not much to do around, not even a place to get beer after a day of riding. I had to walk 15 mins to the only pub I found where beer and food was not very cheap. Breakfast was good, ham, salami, cheese, veggies, coffee too, I missed orange juice.

A little more spartan than I expected. Bed was small and uncomfortable. Best suited to pilgrims, students, those on a tight budget.

This hostel is very clean and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of hot water and good beds. The staff is very helpful and organized. It seems as if someone has chopped down many trees on the property. As a result the front area is very dry and hot and in the blazing sun. The grass was dead from the loss of the trees. The trees in the pictures on booking are not there. Add the heat from the parking lot and you have a disaster. The person who ordered the trees removed should be fired.

For me as a solo Traveller with bicycle the place offered all I need. It was basic, but clean and quiet. There was also a safe place for my bike. I very much appreciated all the help offered by Erno Turdok. He was very friendly and helpful. The church bells woke me up at 7:00 in the morning. But I assume that is unavoidable when you stay in a former cloister.
