Beautiful and unique No refund for checking out early

Located a fair way from anywhere - Canggu closest main area - stayed two nights so that children could do the glassblowing class on site. Hotel is not finished completely - buggies needed to be taken to and from reception as its a fair walk. No phone communication between rooms and reception - you have to use Whats App - which I found annoying as I had to wait for a reply each time. Hotel did supply a private car for a reasonable fee but it was not alway available and it is a fair drive into Canggu. Food options at complex are good and reasonably priced. Beds are comfy. Coffee pod machine supplied but no kettle. Bathroom is open at the ceiling - doors face onto main entry doors so need to make sure curtains are closed. Bathoorms in very poor condition for a relatively new hotel. Worst feature is a touch door pad which needs to be woken up each time - very difficult to see the number pad when the sun is beating down on it. Found this very frustrating. Also very hard to close privacy and main curtains on the main doorsbehind you when exiting the room. Be aware that Luna Beach Club is on site and the doof-doof bass starts at noon and goes to midnight. Also the rooms advertised as King Suites on here are actually called "Party Suites" and are located next to the "Ash" restaurant/bar which can have loud music and average open mic performers also to midnight. Was woken up between 3am - 4am by blaring music and PA checks due to the Nuanu Run being held on weekend. Really unhappy as this has been planned for months and guests not informed. Would not have stayed here if we knew about this - literally 100's of people descended the venue to participate in the run. Reception staff were apologetic but I feel guests should have been warned about this. Would never stay here again. Luna Beach Club was lovely. Bathrooms, lack of kettle, door pads, Very small swimming pool for hotel guests. Whats App communication with reception,

There are a lot of insects, since it’s an isolated place. There was even a snake, trying to get into the room.

Amazing experience!!

Interesting facilities with all sorts of amazing art, music and a blend of nature and art. Ash Nuanu was supposed to shut down at 12am, but kept bumping excessively loud music till 2am keeping us and our family (and all the neighbors) awake all nite with only 5 people in the place. Nuanu says they have warned the owner many times before, but they refuse to listen and have ruined the stay of many guests. Be warned! Don't expect to get much sleep if you stay here. Nuanu hotel has no control over the music (surprising and annoying!) so be prepared to be sleep deprived. Hotel apologized, but in the end they need to set guidelines for the business that accommodate their guests. Not pleased with the stay.

Such a beautiful place, sacred geometry elements in design all over the space. Love it, friendly very helpful staff, specially Vera was amazing , she was driving me to spa and all over NUANU with electric buggy sharing inspiring information about the city! I enjoyed so much, will definitely come back❤️
