Bed was comfy and supportive, great wifi, towels were sometimes clean, water heater was effective, shared shampoo and body soap was provided in the shower area, sound levels were decent inside the room, bugs were minimal inside the room, natural (frog, lizard, bird) sounds outside the room were relaxing and beautiful, the food looked delicious, complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea station; the pool seemed clean, the deck chairs seemed solid/sturdy, (3-10 minute) walking distance to beach and cafes; some (mostly female) staff were kind, friendly, and helpful throughout Hand soap would be a good addition/staple next to dorm-bathroom-sink(s), towels sometimes smelled moldy, shower water pressure was okay (having a spray nozzle closer to or inside shower area would be a good addition), opening and closing the room-door fully was very loud (WD-40 might help, or double-checking the door hinges/alignment?), secure-locker only available with key deposit, some floorboards on the (darker/extension?) deck were loose/safety-hazard (need to be secured), some bartenders seemed to be drinking alcohol on the job and some (male) bartenders/staff made escalating inappropriate advances/sexual harassment (when I said "no means no," one responded "no means yes" which was very concerning; another followed me into the room when I was about to take a shower, etc.)

Very friendly staff, great menu and food, surrounded by rice fields and pretty quiet in rooms. Tea kettle and coffee and tea is a nice amenity among the poolside restaurant on the 2nd floor with beautiful views, I highly recommend staying at Swell. The tiny balcony wasn't clean.

Exceptional

Super polite and friendly staff. Clean bedrooms, nice bathroom. Beautiful swimming pool and facilities. I once ate dinner and it was good. Near the surfing beach, good waves early morning. Recommended, would come back. Generally it was all good. Just during certain hours during the night, there were some very small insects, that didn't bite anyone else I talked to but me. So that stays a mystery. I Would have stayed much longer if it wasn't for this.

Huge spacious roof was AMAZING pool was cool Definitely exceeded my expectations on that matter GO ON THE ROOF FOR SUNRISE!! BUT ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ... the dorm rooms are small and dirty and didn't get cleaned once during my three day stay. The bathroom has no window (just a ventilation system which is not very effective) so even with bathroom door open and main door open after a shower the bathroom mirror will stay wet fir an hour. That's how little airflow there is. Failure in building design. Floor was disgusting.

Nice place with very efficient and friendly staff members. Perfect localised to both surf (beach at the end of the road, around the corner) or visit Tanah Lot. I deeply recommend it.

The staff are so friendly and great! I felt very welcome and comfortable. However there was a musty smell in my room which was overpowered by the air freshener. This was the only downside to my stay. Apart from that, the location is perfect if you are in town to surf. It is very quiet and you get a nice sunrise & sunset view. There is a nice little pool and restaurant/ common areas.

Location!

Great spot among the rice fields and close to the beach and some cool spots. Great atmosphere to watch the UFC and other events i imagine and all of the staff were phenomenal. Smart TV’s. clean. What more could you ask for? Food and drinks are more pricey than some other spots in bali but the value for money compared to Australian prices is still fantastic and the quality was great and safe.

The location is at a green place and close to the beach. They have unlimited free tea and coffee. I found the restaurant a bit more expensive than restaurants near by.

- Location and the setting of the place/building, with the pool and bar - Friendly personel - Hygiëne in general (floor and parts of the wall, bathroom, bed) - Noise and vibration of the airconditioning from another room and workers of renovation (from early to late, 11pm) - Overall price compared to quality

Location is nice Food was amazing Poolside rooftop is great Staff was friendly and amazing Beds are comfortable There was a smell in the bathroom , but I only stayed one night so was ok for me

So good to get away from the hussle of traffic and enjoy peaceful surroundings and nature Good bar and upper resting area Loved 'Beach Love' for sunset and views just 5 minutes walk away through the rice terraces Nice pool Odd that they couldn't provide me with a cold water ? (at the time) Ugly construction site obscuring part of the view of the sea

I would like to mention the absolutly kind staff at the hostel. Specially with MJ and PUTRA I had a good connection since the beginning. Thanks for everything
