We really enjoyed the location, the staff (owners), the room, the overall hotel, and the breakfast. It was an amazing experience and we would definitely go back.

The hosts were so helpful and informative. The breakfasts were delicious and the location perfect for exploring Grignan and nearby sites. A delight to stay here.

The host was very generous and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay. The room was comfortable and the breakfast on the terrace was absolutely lovely.

Beautiful stone home near the castle with fantastic views of the village, lavender fields and mountains. Bruno and Merielle were delightful hosts - helpful, gracious and welcoming. We love Grignan and will return again to La vie de chateau! Best breakfast ever!

Beautifully decorated, spacious room with a breathtaking view. Located just a few steps away from the Chateau and centrally located. This place is a gem. Breakfast was delicious and the service extremely friendly.

Bruno was a wonderfully helpful and friendly host. The room was delightful; spacious with stunning views over the rooftops to the mountains. The position is superb…halfway between the castle and the little town centre, both just mètres away. And the breakfast far exceeded the normal bnb fare, with fresh croissants, fruit, the offer of eggs, pastries and more, all served with grace by Bruno. A great little establishment. All good!

The host was extremely kind and helpful with local tips. In addition he prepared a lunch pack for us since we needed to leave before breakfast on the day of departure!

Grignan is a beautiful old town with cobbled streets and a lovely chateau. La vie de chateau if wonderfully positioned for the chateau and the town centre. Note that no cars are allowed in the old town centre which is lovely for walking around. Bruno sent us a message to call him when we arrived in the parking area and he came down and helped carry our luggage to the hotel. This is no more than 5 minutes walk up to the top of the town. We were in Madame de Sevigny's bedroom and that felt special. Bruno recommended a restaurant, La Ferme Chapouton, and rang to book it for us. An excellent choice. Finally, breakfast on the terrace was great. Beautiful fresh croissants and other pastries, fruit salad, fresh fruit, yogurts, great coffee etc all top quality and served by Bruno and Mireille with great style and humour. We felt like very welcome house guests. Thanks so much. Trying to think of something but nothing comes to mind.

The hosts were exceptional, they went out of their way to assist us. The breakfast was amazing. The room spacious, well appointed and the view to die for. An exceptional accommodation. The room was on the ground floor however to access the property required climbing stairs or steep paths. The property is not really suitable for people with mobility issues.

Beautiful restored townhouse in wonderful position below castle with views over rooftops towards the mountains from breakfast terrace. Huge room, very clean and comfortable. Bruno was a great host, helpful about where to eat, booking bikes etc. Fabulous breakfast. We liked everything!

Beautiful renovated place, full of character, just below the chateau. Warm welcome, perfect breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun overlooking the beautiful surroundings. The host was very friendly and helpful.
