Only minus: the breakfast was very basic, with few items, many of industrial, low quality (cheese was 1 triangle of processed spread cheese, honey was industrially blended with sugar, no fruits, olives or veggies at all, 1 hard boiled egg per person... etc). Considering the price and the standard, they should really improve breakfast in quality and quantity...

Particularly friendly and attentive staff. Excellent restaurant (had 2 dinners there), nice pool with view of the Tete de Lion gorge Shower wasn't so great

Friendly waiters and staff, good breakfast. And the price level was attractive. WiFi worked very well. Bathroom tiles looked weared off and should be replaced. Illumination in the bedroom and around the pool where I had the dinner was a bit weak.

Nice place within a lovely geographical area. Built like a hotel in the southwest of the U.S. nice breakfast and very kind and attentive staff. The lighting was exceedingly dim. The dinner and dining room were a bit cafeteria like. We were not lucky with the French biker group nearby.lll

Big comfortable room. Great shower. Helpful & friendly staff. Breakfast good but basic. Parking easy. Lovey grounds & pool area with beautiful view of mountains. Outside town but not an issue if you have transport.

Quiet out of town location, rooms set around lovely poolside area, good food, warm welcome from Amaliye and the staff. There seemed to be a policy of leaving main doors open (in January) so pack an extra jumper for chilly evenings!

All of the staff were very friendly & happy. The owner was lovely & very helpful with any questions that I had. The place was well situated for us. A quiet location, but not far from everything that we needed. It was great to sit & have a drink with our dinner! I aim to be back in the area early 2025 & will definitely stay here again.

Chez Amaliya was established 20 years ago by a retired Dutch woman, who continue to run a very efficient hotel with a staff of 11. We spent three comfortable days there, walking Tafraout and visiting area sights. Excellent meals. Highly recommended. A few minor details like towel racks but hardly worth mentioning.

Lovely owner and staff. Fun to swim in a pool after hiking. Decent breakfast. Great location. Flat rocks around the pool could have been cleaner as well as pool-side furniture. Some dinner foods could be improved (e.g., lamb kefta). But staff were kind and helpful.
