I had a wonderful stay at L’Auberge. Simo at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful—he gave us great recommendations on where to dine and even prepared fresh mint tea for us, which was such a lovely touch. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the views from the property were absolutely stunning. The common areas were beautiful and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend L’Auberge to anyone staying in Taghazout. Everything was great

If only their restaurant was up and running. I understand this is coming soon, so that will make this place even better.
-
The bathroom and shower were private but not in the room itself. Not practical at all.
-
The only small thing was a bit of noise from the next room, but apart from that everything was great.
-
There are no towels and the wifi connection is not good
-
Would be great if some of the furniture in the common area could be renewed. Other then that, nothing.

Having travelled to Morocco many times, I was surprised at how rude the staff was. We couldn’t find the hotel and one of them just sent us a fast video that didn’t help at all. When we called again to ask for help the person laughed at my husband. The people on the street helped us. You have to park your car on the street and walk in, no secure parking, and parking was not easy to find. There was a very thin door connecting our room to the next, when the people next door were in there it was like they were in the same room as us. We wanted to be close to the ocean, I knew this was a surfer area but didn’t expect such bad service. I guess they can always rely on the surfers and don’t have to worry about other tourists. Don’t waste your money, there are lots of other beautiful places to stay.

No room service, garbage bins never got emptied. No shower curtains. Rooms get quite hot in the afternoon

The breakfast is add on and I did not partake. There are lots of nice places on the beach to have breakfast and other meals. The hotel is located on the beach - however it is next to and above a restaurant so it was extremely noisy till 11pm. Most hotels on the beach have the same situation as it is a young surfer crowd there. The room was very simple and clean with a couple smaller windows looking out through bouganvillae to the beach. The bathroom was surprising elegantly tiled but there was some smell from the drains which I encountered a lot in Morocco. The room was also directly adjacent to reception on one side and another room next door so it was very noisy. There were other rooms on higher floors that had balconies and maybe they were less noisy and more spacious. Note the hotel is down a lot of stairs to the beach from the main road as is the case with most of the other beach hotels. So no direct car access and if you have heavy luggage it requires some help. The staff were friendly and as helpful as possible. It's best for younger travellers as it is not very 'polished' in its presentation or customer service. a more laid back beach vibe. The location next to reception and above a restaurant. A lot of stairs to access the hotel and the main road

The best part about this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly and willing to help! The location is perfect as you are near all the restaurants and the surf beach. The view from our private balcony was amazing! You could enjoy the beautiful sunset. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax. The only negative thing is that the double bed room was a bit small. The bathrooms are not next to the room so have this in mind.

Location is second to none. It was clean. Seemed recently renovated. Great to have apartment with its own external access. Restaurant next door great for breakfast. Apartment was lacking in kitchen utensils - no pots or pans, hob didn’t work. No way to make tea or coffee. Couldn’t really self cater in there.
-
The location is superb. Look at the sea right from your bed. The staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and the rooftop very beautiful. The room was a bit small but all the houses in Taghazout are small

The location & The Staff ?? It was actually, exactly as described. We feel it was an intentional choice and we absolutely loved it!

This was an amazing place to stay. The front door of the hotel literally opens on to the beach. The views are incredible and the hotel offered some nice extras like luggage storage (so we could spend the day at the beach) and surf lessons The wifi wasn’t always great, and the cafe was closed for renovations. But I’m sure it will be a nice cafe when it opens!
