Rufina's Leisure Center

The room was dirty. The floor was dusty, there were dead flies and cobwebs, and the TV wasn't working. The bed only had a thin sheet, no toothpaste and toothbrush, used conditioner in the bathroom. The pool was also dirty, with debris floating in the water.

If you are just passing by Tagum this is a good place to stay. My family just needed a place to rest as they were simply attending a birthday party in Tagum. It is very cheap and very close to the party.

Its and old hotel for the price. No wi-fi only one wall outlet. No fridge in the room. And mosquitos inside the room.

The location, the ambience, and most especially those attendants that clean my room.I will still come back on my next vacation I think they need to do a renovation and do some maintenance, like the ac, the water heater, and the bed also

The property is okay. The facility is very affordable. I was expecting too much. The area was really beautiful back then. Nevertheless, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Although in my opinion they need to change the bed it is a bit hard. The room we had we needed to go out the room for a bit when someone is doing number 2. If you know what i mean. I saw them doing some renovations “repainting” so its good. I would stay again just because they have decent pool.

It has a surprisingly homey vibe and the staff are respectful, nice, and helpful. The place was peaceful and we enjoyed relative quietness in our room despite being near the parking entrance and stairway. It's an old place but Tagum was giving old vibes, so I'd say the staff are doing what they can to maintain the place. Overall, it felt like staying at your grandparents' place. The room was dimly lit, the walls were sticky, and at one point, the hallway to the rooms smelled of pee. As for the pool area, the restrooms are not that clean. The men's restroom smelled of pee. The playground was a letdown as it was rather small and the swings creaked. Also, some guests by the pool didn't follow rules like bringing pets, cooking food, and not showering before entering the pool.

Access to a pool. Small pillows, no blanket or bed spread, charging for extra pillow, locking up snacks to buy, attitude of front desk, unclean room, terrible paint job, broken toilet seat, it's a two star motel with zero aspirations of going any higher.

My mother is admitted at the hospital across the street so I booked at Rufina's Leisure Place. The room I got was very affordable but the size is huge, wide, and they have a very comfortable bed and pillows The toilet is clean. I also like it that the room is a bit dark which allowed me to sleep well. Even if it was close to the highway there was not much noise. All in all, I'm glad I had a place to rest when I needed it. I think my concern is the slow and often disappearing wifi signal on the first floor. They have several wifi options but most of them are not working. The ones that work disappears constantly. I don't really mind this but there is no data reception inside so I guess that's why it's necessary to have a good wifi.

The stuff was kind and helpful. The location is good, the Pool was good to use. The whole complex need maintenance, a bit color would change a lot. The rooms have been worth the price. Old but functional. The AC worked fine, hot water was good, but why are they not able to repair the cr ? 300 php and it would be OK. We arrived and the whole bathroom was flooded with dirty water.

The room is clean and the staff are accommodating. Also the area is quiet and the hotel is easy to find The water from the tap was dirty. The blanket and bed cover is too thin and has poor quality. Plus the pillows are too small and uncomfortable to sleep on.

Right on the main road. The restaurant was only open 10am till 5pm no where for breakfast and dinner ?

Sub standard amenities. The hotel needs a lot of improvement.

Room large size No toilet seat. Reported this and was told one will be available when we return later, come back later and ask about the seat, nobody knows about it. No toilet seat. A door to the balcony was locked and unable to open, the knob just spins around. Fire hazard. The mattresses are PVC. The internet or TV or box or all were faulty. you could not see the show as it would be fuzzy with lines then cut off and go blank then work for a minute and repeated process.. there was a gap around the balcony door. A pool party was in full swing when we got back, so loud so the noise in the room was bad, we had an early start and as we did not get to sleep until it stopped we were late. The sound could not be blocked as it would come through the gap in the door. They have this great big list of costs on the door for damages stains ECT.this is a joke as it was broken already, We should have taken photos but we were so tired.

The swimming pool.was clean and inviting. The room ceiling in the bedroom and the bedroom had black mould
