A bit old in the interior , room was clean, staffs were great, love the Taiwanese breakfast , good location

a) International buffet breakfast. b) Close proximity to shopping area and CBD c) The hotel is beautifully decorated, with it's own brands of products, paintings, drip coffee etc d) The amenities are beyond expectation, with Sauna, steam room, spa areas, squash and table tennis.. etc e) Nice business center too. f) Polite and professional staff. g) Very suitable for family travellers a) Taxi service to airport. We were told can paid via credit card, but have to paid with cash. Seems unable to book taxi beyond 4 person. Therefore, perhaps hotel should linked up with other service providers eg, Uber or has own fleet of vehicle.

The kids room is pretty spacious and has lots of toys. The swimming pool can be a bit packed sometimes but it's still great to have it to help kill time for kids. It was public holidays in Taiwan when we stayed so it took a long time to get into the elevator, especially with a stroller. The longest time we had waited to get in was about half an hour which was pretty awful considering we had two young kids with us.

Location is good I keep smelling sewage in the main lobby and the food is terrible

I like this hotel and was here last year around this same time. Seems lie is has been renovated somewhat but was very nice last time I was here also. The breakfast is delicious and served at 6:30am to meet my need for an early start of the day. Plenty of choices. They have lots of friendly staff at the front desk for easy check-in and check-out. Money exchange is also quick. My really big room had what I would say is new beautiful carpet. I like it all. What I don't like is how the Taiwan EPA has turned 5 star hotels into 3 star hotels. They now have a newly implemented Taiwan government policy of no bathroom supplies or bottled water in hotel rooms. I had just finished traveling 12,000 from the USA and arrived 10:00 at night with this surprise at the hotel. All this is very inconvenient and unnecessary as the Taiwan EPA has primarily targeted foreign travelers. I will do my part for the Taiwan environment by not coming to Taiwan as often.

The location is great, near to science museum which is beneficial when traveling with children. Walking distance to lots of restaurant and shopping centers. Nice comfortable room and friendly staffs. I think the car parking signs can be improved, the lane is a bit narrow. Can consider to make a safe lane for child strollers, at the moment it's mixed with cars. There are some parking spot that are on the turn, it's a bit risky for larger cars like SUV.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. Although the family room I reserved was a bit large for two people, it was nice and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with providing sightseeing information and arranging transportation.

Clean,comfortable, and easy commute to MRT station and Taichung international Airport. Too many people on weekend, crowded and noisy.

Good location, delicious breakfast, staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is quiet and comfortable. The bed is a bit soft, but I still managed to get a good sleep though.

The swimming pool was a decent size with lounge chairs and umbrellas. The staff were amazingly helpful, competent and friendly. Most of them spoke English which was helpful. Decent breakfast buffet. As stated by others, the hotel needs updating or lower their prices if they aren’t going to put money into the property. There are much nicer hotels for the same price in Taichung.

Emblematic hotel with great service and facilities. TERRIFIC breakfast caters to all kinds of ethnithity and religion. Smooth and easy check in, Wide and Cozy Lobby Lounge and Cigar room. one of the two BEST IN-HOTEL BAKERY.

The coffee at breakfast was terrible. The bathroom was very far away from the pool and down steep stairs, so getting to the bathroom with a wet child was tricky.

Excellent Price should be same as quoted when booked through 3rd party Expedia

Sizeable infrastructure even though dated, but well maintained. 5-star hotel managed with 2-star customer service. (1) Need to scan room key to access breakfast, then assigned table like school kids. Understand that the space is limited with many guests, but wait-staffs should not shout instructions like wardens in prison. Lost its 5 star refined experience even with extensive variety. (2) Room has limited power supply for business travelers to charge multiple devices - strange for the hotel to overlook this in the digital world. (3) Understand the go-green concept with minimum amenities. No issue with limited toiletries and tea/coffee kits but self-filled water can be assisted with the pre-filled jug. Not competitive in comparison to other similar standard hotels on its service level.
