Great value place to stay. Not much space in room, but good for the price. Was a bit troublesome to walk around with two people.

Great location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants. There are shades that cover the shower stall and sink. So if you want natural light, you have to open those shades, which is kind of weird. There are no windows in the bedroom.

Great central location, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and malls nearby. Many attractions we wanted to visit were easily accessible by bus, and the hotel is close to several bus stops. Taxis in Taichung are also cheap and convenient, so getting around was never an issue. The water pressure is good, the staff are friendly and could communicate in basic English. The shower and toilet area have clear full-length windows facing the street and the building opposite. There are blinds you can close, but they don’t seal properly, leaving gaps that make it possible for people to see in from the sides. We had to put in considerable effort to secure the curtains for the privacy we needed. Because of this "unique" setup, the blinds had to remain closed at all times, meaning the room received no natural sunlight. This situation would be greatly improved if the windows were frosted. Caution: the hotel has two entrances, each with a reception desk. Our taxi dropped us off at the "smaller" entrance, where no staff were present. After waiting a while, we discovered a narrow passage leading to the larger lobby, where staff were available. Having a sign at the no-man desk redirecting people to the main lobby would be helpful. We were also woken up early by noisy guests in the corridor, so bringing earplugs is recommended. Lastly, the room felt smaller than advertised.

Nice hotel. Good value for money. Incredibly helpful staff that will go out of their way to help you. Decent location, it is a short bus ride from the train station and is surrounded by some very nice restaurants.

Everything a traveler wants: clean and quiet room, good location, and friendly staff. This place has it all. Bed is comfortable and toiletries are high quality. I’ll stay here if I ever come back. None

Room is as described, clean with all necessary items and close to many shops and night market. Within walking distance to bus stop that takes you to the high speed rail station. The soundproof isn't great, and the window was facing the carpark level so basically have to keep the blind down throughout the stay. Slept really well the first night however on the second night the family (?) staying next door the parents (?) were having an argument so loud at 3.50am it woke me up as I could pretty much hear everything the guy said, and I had to yell back across the wall to ask them to lower down voices as they just wouldn't stop.

The location was ok, 10min walk to Yizhong Night Market, we ended up going twice during our stay. It is also next to Umai Yakiniku, which was famous in Taichung, but if you’re from Australia, the meat quality there is nothing compared to the ones at home. We had a bit of issues with the cleanliness of the hotel, the staff member offered us compensation which was 10% discount vouchers at their fruit shop, even though we didn’t end up using it but we appreciated the offer. The staff member handled the situation pretty efficiently, however it just left us with questions about the overall cleanliness of the hotel with a few other issues we found while staying. We hope the hotel can be more cautious in this aspect and be more proactive when dealing with such issues in the future.
