Probably as close to the night market as you can get, without actually be in the noise and traffic. We wanted to be within walking distance to the night market, and had a rental, so transportation wasn't an issue. But without one, the city center or HSR would be really tedious, and taxi/Uber was the only way. Hotel was newish. Self check-in was easy, but the few times we needed staff help, none was around at the reception. Seems like their office was somewhere else. We had to call them on the lobby phone, and wait for the 1 duty receptionist to stroll over. They have their office/staffroom on the same floor as ours, and like to hang about the connecting veranda to chat and smoke. So our curtains were always drawn.

Some days the food was cold but he choices were good ? I wish there was some condiments like hot sauce, salt pepper.

around 10 min to the nearby night market. the room is comfy. The lift queue was long. also need to take taxi to other scenic spots

The hotel is perfectly located for Feng Chia University and Feng Chia Night Market. It's in a quiet neighborhood away from the noisy streets. Rooms are spotless and offer good views of the city. The beds are more comfortable than average, and the breakfast is better than average. I would have preferred more than one towel per room. And note that the check-in counter is automated, so they seem to employ less staff than usual for a hotel of this size. But, on the other hand, this may explain the lower-than-expected price tag.

Checking in was confusing without assistance from human staff. Our daughters were eventually able to figure it out but older, less technically savvy travelers will find it difficult

Everything was good. We loved the room with the window view and you had everything in one touch on the desk. Breakfast was good and the dinner as well even though the dinner was in buffet style. There is more that enough parking space and walk directly to the elevator, it is really convenient. There was no person to help and the automate check-in process was not that smoothly as you expected. I can't find my booking by using my last name especially when you have double last name. Unfortunately, all instructions was in chinese. Luckily some other staff walking passed and helped us to call the front-desk staff.
