1) It's actually a love motel. Heed caution before booking. 2) It is property policy that guests are required to check-out everyday by 12pm and re-check-in by 7pm (even if you have consecutive night stays like we did), suspect because the property wants to try to sell the room at hourly rates in the afternoon to other guests. If you would like to keep the room between 12pm-7pm without checking out, we were required to pay ~TWD1200 (can't recall the exact amount). This was not listed in property policy section of our booking and upon detailed checking, the hotel had only mentioned this policy in the ROOM DESCRIPTION section. Our receptionist also took a long time to locate this policy when asked to produce evidence that it has been listed in the booking. We had complained to the staffs that they should move this to the property policy section instead. Luckily, the staffs waived the fee for us and we didn't have to pay extra to keep the room for extra 7 hours of our 2 nights stay. 3) The toilet is outdoors, it's freezing just to use the toilet and showers because it was 15 degrees Celsius in Taichung at the time. Obviously, we couldn't enjoy the bathtub since it's outdoors with the cold weather. 4) The wall is cushioned, so dust from the cushion kept falling down onto the tables making it look as if they did not clean the tables.

The room was really big and spacious. Parking is included with the room. More privacy. Staff were friendly too. Cigarette smell the moment we enter the room. Missing a set of mouth wash when we have two people.

Great location. Access to public transportation or taxi to tourist areas was easy and convenient. Staff was very nice and very accommodating. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and spacious. "Continental breakfast" does not mean McDonald's delivery. That should be clarified in the listing. You really need to update this listing to state clearly that this is a love motel and not a regular hotel. The staff were so nice but clearly alarmed when we showed up on foot (apparently everyone arrives by car) Also, despite the listing, our rooms had clearly been smoked in.
