Good location, hotel looks new, and breakfast was okay. They also have promos at their bar for guests.

Good location within walking distance of the main train station. The hotel also offers a great late-night service, with supper provided past 10 pm. My room was clean and met all basic expectations for a comfortable overnight stay. The breakfast selection was a bit disappointing. The choices were quite limited, you might want to manage your expectations.

The staff was very helpful and it's in a great location. The common spaces are nice and spacious. Beds and comforters are so comfy. The staff actually helped me get out of a bad situation and moved me to a very comfortable room. There was a peculiar situation. I stayed in the female dorm (overall was comfortable and can recommend), but unfortunately there was a very strange guest. I have been traveling and staying in hostel dorm rooms for years. I have never felt unsafe and mostly I have felt comfortable until now. She was extremely disruptive the entire night. She had everything covered in plastic wrap, so every time she moved, it created so much noise. She was pacing around the room the ENTIRE night, mostly in front of my bed. I don't think she slept at all.. and thus, neither did I. She was brushing her teeth IN the bed. She left her suitcase wide open in the middle of the dorm hallway - it was filled with medical items (medications, hospital-type items, etc). I thought I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but she suddenly confronted me as I was getting into my dorm bed about not wearing slippers from the shower and basically demanded that I should promptly go buy them at the 7-Eleven. She then decided to (on speaker phone) call friends/families for hours. This was late into the night. She made everyone in my room uncomfortable. She even is setting up camp there for a couple weeks, being very disruptive and rude to the staff. If it wasn't for her, my stay would have been very pleasant. I hope that the staff is able to find a way to cancel her stay as to not disturb the other guests. A women's only dorm should feel safe, and this became the exception sadly.

Location is very close to the train local train station, with many bus stop options nearby. There are plenty of food options near as well. Hotel is showing its age by stains in the hallway carpets and the shower had some mold stains. Also toilet does not have a bidet. Breakfast is included, however you are much better off grabbing a local breakfast nearby. Breakfast is very basic, they do rotate the menu. Staff asked random guest for their room numbers when entering the breakfast area.

Good location, clean room with several chairs for seating. Good beds and shower. Good buffet breakfast. A bit small for two people.

Clean, comfortable room with good amount of seating, good shower, good beds, good Asian breakfast Small for two people, heard people both next door and across the hall

The decor of the room and the shared spaces was beautifully coordinated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Amazing lighting features. Super comfy beds. Great shower. Great breakfast with a large selection of good food. Coffee and tea 24/7., with option for self catering. Very friendly staff. Central location. Room was quiet. Most recommendable accommodation. We loved this place.

This hotel would be great for 1 or 2 nights if you are traveling light and not spending any time in the hotel. We booked for 8 days so we could visit our daughter who is living and working in Taichung. We checked out after night one. There were things we liked. The king bed was very comfortable, the AC worked great, fridge worked great, the tv was large, the room was very clean, the front desk employees were very kind and spoke decent English and the basement had a kitchen with included self serve ramen and beverages. Unfortunately, there was no where to open our luggage except the bed. The closet only had room to hang a few items and there were no drawers to put items in. The biggest issue was noise. We could hear the whole conversation of the people in the room next to us. There was a toddler running up and down the hall ringing the doorbells and a baby screaming into the wee hours. The volume on the tv was so low we couldn’t hear it (with how thin the walls were, understandable!). There was a window but it looked at a brick wall a foot away. We didn’t pay for a view so understandable but at that point all we could do was laugh about our situation and get through the night.

The only downside is they don't have elevator for the dorm room so it was a bit hard with luggage. I also found that the door wouldn't close all the way unless you close it properly. People sometimes didn't notice this, and it was a bit concern with security.

The bed and the location are good The wall around the TV looked like it had not been painted for years while hosting regular black crayon drawing competitions. The windows had watermarks or similar on them and the seals had some blackening, maybe mold. The curtains had white stuff on them and the shower room had a little bit of yellow calcium on some of the seals. The room smelled excessively like perfume when we entered it. Not enough to be an issue while in the room for a while, but not so comforting when initially entering. When we alerted the staff about these things, we were told it was an old building, which does not excuse all these things in a four star hotel with a private double room. The breakfast was maybe okay for a cheap hostel, but lacked cereal, fresh milk and general choice and quality.

The hotel is centrally located, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The room was well-equipped and spacious enough for two. Breakfast was decent, and they also offer free noodles during a certain timeframe.
