Water temperature instructions were confusing

Extensive range of local, Japanese and western selections in breakfast. Outstanding bread section that even had sourdough! Very attentive restaurant staff. Free minibar and snacks in rooms. Bookings were messed up between guest rooms. My complimentary upgrade was given to our friend instead. They downgraded my family quadruple room booking to a family twin. Getting NO solution after talking to staff was very disappointing! They should have given both customers complimentary upgrades for the hiccup. The hotel also mishandled my friend's credit card guarantee procedure prior to arrival which created unnecessary security concerns and stress. There was minimal furniture in our family twin room which only provided a small desk and one chair. Inadequate storage and table top space for a 6 nights stay! The hotel lobby was scattered with retail snacks, wines and souvenir merchandise while only a few couches were provided in the waiting area. The place became very packed especially when unseated guests had luggage with them. The hotel also held weddings and functions which brought in more outside guests waiting around. Chaotic!

The staff was super respectful and kind at all times, and they were very helpful. The room was also very clean and nice. Lastly, the amenities were great (nice soaps in the shower). The bed was a bit firm and it would have been nice to have an extra quilt in the room. The water pressure was adiquite but could have been adjustable to be stronger.

SPA

Spacious room. There is no water bottle in the room. I had a hard time getting the hot water from the machine. Too complicated to use for first-time guests.

Laundry room was only open 8:30am ~ 9:30pm. Dryer did not dry well, required smaller loads and longer dry times to dry completely.

This hotel's breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended. Rooms are very clean and facilities are maintained well. The hotel is also located nearby to many eateries well within walking distance. The place needs abit of refreshing as the decor and rooms look dated. Like travelling back into the early 90s. The beds are hard.

AMAZING ROOM, aged yet classic. isolated from the main street yet easy access to anywhere via uber/taxi in Tainan. very helpful front desk / concierge enjoyed the stay in the bar fantastic breakfast even if this trip were for leisure.

Room carport was very dated and had what seems mold spots

The room is comfort and clean. Breakfast has many selection. But, should be more western style . nothing

Friendly staff with clean facility A/C in the room seems not strong enough

The staff is nice and knowledgeable. They are well prepared with the arrangement and how the situation can be dealt with. The facilities are getting old. The water drain is always very slow to let go if the water, both shower and facial vase. The wall paper is getting ripped off.

Service is impeccable; room size are quite big; lobby area is huge and has great welcoming vibes. Guestrooms are a bit old. Some facelifts are definitely needed.
