This is a beautiful residential home (said to be the governor's) filled with lovely art and artifacts. We were grateful to be upgraded to a larger room which was very comfortable. It's located in a quiet residential neighborhood, unfortunately not near any good restaurants we could find within walking distance. You should be aware that there are cameras EVERYWHERE in the house which made us VERY uncomfortable. We were told that the house was "controlled by AI", whatever that means. When we entered the house, a disembodied robotic voice would speak to us by name--very spooky. Lights would automatically turn on and curtains would open when we entered different rooms. Again spooky. We hope there weren't cameras in our room, but how could we be certain? If we had known all this we would have NEVER booked this room. Also, breakfast is not served in the house so it's not exactly a bed and breakfast. We were given coupons for 50 Yuan for an average breakfast egg place. Nice people but not very interesting food. All in all, I cannot recommend Warm House.

Very nice and lovely house, feel so warm every morning and great place to stay! Will definitely come back next time if visiting Tai Tung again! Highly recommended!

The Building and Room were very clean and comfortable. The owner is very polite and accommodating. I would definitely come again next time!

It was clean, spacious and quiet. Though it is a home stay, it is not a typical Taiwanese homestay where the owners would engage the customers.

Beautiful yards, cozy interior environment, very clean and organized. Breakfast will be served with drinks and delicious fruits by the owner, who is really friendly and helpful about providing information of places to visit in Taitung city. Parking is not an issue here as it provides free parking in the next block, 3mins walk. There is a supermarket near by, really convenient. Nice location, not too far from downtown and really quite at night. Definitely will choose to stay this place again. Need to climb stairs, just a notice for those who do not enjoy that.

So charming! My husband and I absolutely loved staying here! Yummy breakfast, kind and thoughtful staff. The bedroom and bath were extremely comfortable. We were able to do our laundry as needed. Lovely garden that was carefully tended. We were able to borrow bikes to ride around the beautiful park. I absolutely would stay here again and highly recommend it for others!
