Odd check in hours, 11-4 is when a staff is on site. Arriving outside of this time means self check-in (to be fair this wasn’t difficult). However you won’t be able to retrieve your luggage outside of this time if you need to leave it on check out.

The room was clean with a hard bed but smaller than pictured. Front desk help was rarely available yet friendly and helpful when there. We had the room with a hot tub which was heavenly after a day of exploring the area. This small hotel was on a quiet side street and included breakfast offsite. Our three night stay was an excellent value overall.

Really friendly staff and good location Mold in the bathroom, no handsoap, rooms were not really clean, leftovers in the fridge from previous visitors, fly screen was broken

The reception people were very helpful. Wife couldn't take the three floors of stairs so we were sent to their other hotel The Mido so we didn't actually stay at the 'Library' hotel which looked very nice. Hard bed at the Mido hotel. Great staff. Very basic accommodation.

I like this room design and the room is clean ,the room space is comfortable for our family . The breakfast is very nice ? Staff is very friendly and do some advice to us for travel at Taitung ☺️

We booked the room with a private outdoor bath and it was such an amazing idea! The room itself was comfy (we also like a hard bed so it was no issue for us), and the bathroom was quite big with a walk-in shower. But the best thing was really the outdoor bath! We enjoyed our evening relaxing in the bath, it was perfect to unwind after discovering the city. The location was good too, easy to reach everything by bike. The hotel provides bikes for free which is very nice as there are no youbike in the city (more on this on the negative side) as well as a voucher for breakfast in a breakfast restaurant nearby! As said, the bikes were great to have but they are really basic bikes which aren't in great condition. If you want to bike a lot (like to the forest park or something), I'd recommend renting bikes somewhere else. They don't have lights nor speeds. Maybe less bikes but better ones?

Nice and clean place. Near to night market and town area. Provide bicycle for us to cycle to their park nearby. Even provide free tidbits in the room. No lift. A bit inconvenient if we need to carry the luggage up especially for elderly. I find the bed a bit hard.

Clean, nice and cozy The lady staff was very unfriendly and the hotel insisted to charge for 5th person even though I have clearly stated to have 3 adults and 2 kids when booking the room. Even Booking.com has assured me that the price I booked was for 5 pax. Anyway I have to pay extra 800 NTD for extra mattress, 75 NTD of breakfast voucher and some snacks.

the accommodation is clean and neat. smells good. well furnished. no elevator, steep stairs, not easy for ppl with big suitcases. Most bikes available were partially damaged and needed services.
