Convenient location from the train and bus station. Efficient and helpful staff. Bathhouse was wonderful. Breakfast option very expensive. Pajamas not comfortable.
-
option for private/public bath and also enjoyed the amenities and food. None
-
The staff refused my request to help me book reservation at a certain restaurant

The onsen on the top floor was good but it can get crowded. The staff who checked us in was not smiling. No slippers in the room to use. Welcome bottled water was only 2 when there were three of us in the room. There should be extra towels to use at the onsen.

- Great location right next to the train and bus stations - Staff were very helpful - The Onsens were the highlight of the stay. Whether its the private or the public ones. It was amazing! - Nice Breakfast - Free Laundry (but not Dryer) Nothing

This property is very conveniently located, super close to the train / bus station. We enjoyed both the public and private onsens, all of which have lovely views of town and surrounding mountains. Special perk was the foot bath outside the hotel that helped soothed the feet after hours of walking around the delightful town. We also liked the convenience of vending machines, ramen, ice cream, and laundry.

The hotel was packed and the elevators were always full to capacity. Ended taking the stairs every time. Small room that showed signs of wear and tear, like water stains on the walls. Could hear guests talking in the middle of the night which kept us awake.

All ok

Older hotel with a lot of charm. Amazing breakfast and onsen. Very friendly staff. Perfect location close to sightseeing, shops, restaurants and bus/train station.
-
Very conveniently located . Staff were helpful . Hotel is quaint. Room was worn and dated ,shower was tiny and mattresses were not comfy. Breakfast was nice. A larger hotel trying to be more like a Ryokan. Room very dated and in need of repair . Shower very small
-
Lived the location. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Liked having the complementary coffee and treats.
-
We loved the traditional style of the hotel, which gave us more of an immersive experience into Japan. One of the private onsens we used was a little tired.
-
Not being able to reserve private, instead of waiting in line
-
The view from our room on the 12th floor and the onsen on the 13th floor was nice The staff wasn't particularly friendly. Although the entrance gives you a very good vibe, the rooms could definitely do with renovation. The twin beds we had were a pad on a foldable foam mattress. Overall it didn't give us a very clean feeling
-
The onsen was a lovely amenity to unwind after a long day. The breakfast buffet was also great. We had a lovely stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
-
Loved the onsen, and hotel. No complaints, served us very well.
-
Room is a bit small with hardly any storage space
-
An abysmal hotel worn, stained and rules rules and more rules, no sense of warmth or welcome really a miserable experience. For a completely unwarranted cost.
-
Great location Overpriced for a deeply non-luxury, non-ryokan experience. Staff ignore you and the amenities are pedestrian, mid-range, and catered to uncultured tourists.
