Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest/Veterans Expressway

Staff pleasant and helpful. Room clean and updated. Amenities very good. I stay at this hotel when visiting my daughter and her family.

When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that I do not reservation, I go to another hotel and did the payment, I need that booking return my money.

It was close to the event that we were going to It felt a bit damp in the hallways. The shower was not as clean as I would expect. For the price we paid, I would have expected complimentary breakfast or at least a coffee bar in the lobby.

Room and amenities were very clean and in great condition, staff were friendly as well! No breakfast included but that wasn’t a problem for us as each room had a coffee machine and fridge. There was always parking, even at night when everyone returned to the hotel. Great stay overall.

1. I had opted for the free breakfast during booking itself and specially mentioned during check in itself. However, everyday morning the barista refused saying the hotel staff did not put it in the system. It was so frustrating that , on the last day I did not even bother going to the reception and paid for the breakfast 2. All hotel rooms had crazy shower design. The shower knob is too tight to even open and after closing constantly drips water from shower head on a metal drain. Had to put towels to be even sleep peacefully at night 3. While leaving noticed a bedbug

Rooms need to be updated

Our room a straw was on the bed, fast food napkins on the nightstand and the toilet was not flushed. It seemed like someone took a lunch break in our clean room. Front desk staff apologized, moved us to a new room. The next morning in the shower I found out the soap/shampoo was empty. While it’s a very new nice looking hotel, housekeeping must not be so great.

Confirmed reservation, card not declined, said pending, front desk tried to deny the room and was extremely rude. The hotel is nice and new

Easy to check in, room clean, parking felt safe - overall a good experience

Convenient location close to Restaurants and shopping Ice machine on our floor wasn’t working, one elevator was accessible but it would sometime be available and other times was “out of order”… waiting for the one working elevator took forever. Overall temperature in lobby, elevator, and hallways were hot and muggy. Carts for luggage were too small. There was hair on the ceiling of the bathroom.

Great experience! When stay again!
