We got delayed at Tampa Airport on July 4th. We booked this hotel because it was close and had a rooftop pool on a very hot day. Also assumed we could use rooftop to see July 4th Tampa Fireworks. Property was nice, close to Whole Foods and restaurants. After check in we went to use the pool at 4pm. We were turned away because the pool was now 21+ for July 4th event. Now we’re confined to our room and then the music started. Blasting through the hotel. Shaking the beds. We were then moved 2 floors down. Still, music pounding, beds shaking. I messaged property several times through Expedia messaging and never received a response. We usually book Marriott properties for their reliability and expectations. This was a total bummer. Really made an inconvenient delay worse than expected. So patrons be wary.

The staff at this hotel are difficult and rude. The front desk attendant told us room service was available, it was not. Our only opinion was to dine in at the hotel restaurant. The service was lazy and forgettable. The thermostat in the room did not work. I’d find a way to stay at a different hotel in the future.

The room was large and clean. The location of the hotel was convenient to areas around the Tampa area. Self parking worked well. The staff was very helpful and friendly during each engagement.
