Vournelis Hotel

The staff were very nice, kind and helpful. The location is absolutely close to important facilities - vehicle rents, ATMs, shops, taverns and especially the port. The pool was very clear, and big enough for swimming. Breakfast was different and tasty. Overall, we will definitely repeat the trip.

The position of the hotel is really convenient. It is close to coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets. All at walking distance of max 5 mins. The parking was inside so you know that the car is also safe from scratches and so on. Really nice hotel. Would go again. There isnt anything that i could say that i did not like about our stay.

For the money we paid we did not expected that the bed to be 2 one person bed combined, and also for the ceiling to be cracked!! The photos does not reflect the reality at all.

The breakfast, wasn't very warm even at 8am. The scrambled and boiled eggs and mushrooms were slightly cold. The heat needs to be raised for them to be kept hot, and the mushrooms watery. Smoking from the balcony. The balconies are close together and no screen for privacy or to avoid the smell of smoke, that lingered into my room. Perhaps dedicate a smoking area around the bench on the grass or pool area. After the storm, the pool remained with green algae at the bottom, because of the chemical imbalance so I was unable to use it for days afterwards.I hurt my back on a sunbed that was broken and stubbed my toe on a broken tile by the entrance to the breakfast room. The sunbed was not removed. Staff training would be advantageous and timetables, information sheet and things to do would be welcome and helpful in the room or at the reception desk. I didn't realise there was food in the evening for the first three days. Such a shame because the moussaka was delicious. The blackboards don't pop out to the guest or the passer by that food is served in the evening.. Larger, well chalked up boards would encourage more sales as this hotel which is in a primeq location. Tarsanas beach is a 20 minute walk, Nisteri beach 30 mins. The best two sandy beaches close to the hotel. Centre of Limenas is around 20 mins,25 mins to the old port and Karnagio but it boasts amazing Sunsets.

the rooms are cleaned every day! the curtains on the windows were covered with dust, it was not very comfortable for a person with allergies (

The accommodation has excellent location, close to the stores and local beach. It is a walking distance away from the center of the city Thasos. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is close to the beach so you can have breakfast with the sound of waves. Every apartment has a terrace and it is really peaceful to be outside. The breakfast was underwhelming and AC was paid per day.

Fabulous location, quiet, with beautiful sea views The rooms were fairly basic, but very clean. Very nice pool area.
