Clarion Hotel The Colony - Plano West

The property was under construction. Day 1, my room had no A/C and no refrigerator. Reported situations to the desk clerk, was told that it would be taken care of. Returned later that night, nothing had been done. The desk clerk told me that I should have returned earlier to ensure it was done and he had no other rooms available. Very unprofessional clerk. Property manager did remedy the problem the next day. It was very hot and misrable for the first night.

Under construction and they didn’t post anything about it until I got to the hotel and the entrance was blocked off.

This property is under construction. Nothing was open. The "lobby" is a make sift desk in the hallway. Dirty, unprofessional, no gym or lobby area.

This hotel has recently received a remodel and the rooms are brand new.

Absolutely horrible experience. Seems like a drug running front or something rather than real hotel.

I did get one of the new rooms and it will be nice but it wasnt even finished, room numbers taped to the doors, no refrigerator in the room but a spot for one.

This property is going to be amazing, but they are now in the remodeling phase. My room was excellent, but there was no lobby or check-in or amenities, only because they are being remodeled. As I said, my room was absolutely amazing.

They are remodeling so no pool, breakfast bar, or regular bar. Room was good like I said they are remodeling.

Terrible water pressure, breakfast was individually wrapped muffins, property was under construction so everything was taped off.

Breakfast included was advertised, but not provided. Pool was advertised but not provided. The front entryway for movement was also closed. There was reparation going on, so everything was covered in plastic. Even then, no breakfast was provided.

Hotel was under construction we were not notified of this prior to, not only outside but inside too there were tools and materials Everywhere inside and out. No breakfast or bar which we also weren’t told. Should have gotten a discount for all of these things

Was parking is easy and air conditioning and room was too good. The room was too good as Expected then.

Was under construction but nice. Great place, friendly staff.

For me personally, I won’t stay here again until the renovations are done. Staff was friendly, check in was as usual, my room was clean and smelled nice….but…1st floor completely closed, no breakfast (just basic grab n go), construction plastic and materials everywhere, construction noise during the day, and cell service/wifi was extremely sub par. Ive stayed at this location many times prior to the renovations and I loved it and when renovations first started it wasn’t that bad but—for me personally—I’d just rather stay somewhere else until it’s done. I love Clarion and the staff was awesome… I’ll just wait until it’s awesome again.
