The location was perfect! The river cruise port is right across the hotel and the Tianjin Eye is just a few meters away. The view from our room was quite stunning! There's also a food street right beside the hotel so we were able to try a lot of the local food. The buffet breakfast had several good choices with both local and western dishes. The staff were really helpful. We forgot a bag in the Didi car and they helped me coordinate with the Didi driver to get it back. Truly appreciate their assistance! They forgot to refill the body wash soap dispenser and the hand wash soap dispenser. It was late in the evening when we got back so I called housekeeping and they did send one of the staff to bring us some soap in a cup.

My family and I had a good stay at this hotel. We booked rooms with single beds, and both the rooms and bathrooms were quite spacious. The location is great—it’s right by the Haihe River, and you get a nice view of the Tianjin Eye. At night, there’s a street market near the temple, which was fun to check out. The hotel also has a decent fitness center with a pool. The first-floor lobby area is huge, with a bar and plenty of seating to relax. My biggest complaint is that our room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though I specifically booked a non-smoking room. The smell was really strong, so we had to leave the window open, which made the room freezing when we got back at night. But at least that helped air it out.

Location The heating/AC at the Holiday Inn was terrible. It kept running even when turned off, so it was like sleeping in a sauna. We couldn't get any rest. We complained and they gave us a fan, but that's not what you expect from a Holiday Inn.

Air condition is the room was not working and I called the reception who after long discussion inform that duty Manager, Mr. Peter will visit your room. Mr. Peter apologized and said that he he can not do anything as air condition is down; however he brought a fan and opened the window where we could not sleep because of noise and mosquitos. very uncomfortable stay. How we appreciate Mr. Peter and his response

Great location. Lovely, big hotel. Clean. We had a hot spring voucher but the hot springs were closed. That was not in control of the hotel. They did give us a 20cny voucher for coffee as a ln apology.

The location and the view(riverside view) Lack of facilities management. There was close to no A/C and we had to request for a standing fan. Upon checking in, we noticed staff carrying fans up and that should have been a red flag.

clean room. location is right opposite Tianjin eye. there's a small beer place at the bottom of the hotel. many street food next to hotel. breakfast selection was good. stayed there in mid Oct. hotel turned off central AC because the temperature started to dip. when the temperature rises back up, the AC couldn't be turned back on. when I was there, the outside temperature was around 18 - 23 degs. without the AC, the room was constantly at 27-28 degs. the staff helped to open the window flap and gave me standing fan, but it didn't not help. the room was still very very warm since the air was warm. Many of the room amenities are also faulty. e.g. toilet blinds cannot be adjusted, spoilt light bulb, tv audio button in toilet faulty.
