Location and a very grand hotel Breakfast staff and gym staff-pleasant and kind All of the front end staff not helpful to English speaking clients -I understand the language barrier but they in the service industry-The breakfast and gym staff made an effort to use Google translate- The bar staff in the main reception area on Friday evening very unhelpful-I did complain to the duty manager-It's staff like this that disappoint the overall great hotel

this is a true luxury hotel with fantastic facilities, the overall environment is unbeatable the room carpet has some water stains, and the Nespresso coffee in the lobby was not the best

Maybe it's a crazy thing to comment on, but this room had the most fabulous toilet I've ever seen! Additionally, the maid service folded the clothes I left lying around and left me a personal note. Nothing. Everything was great. I can't imagine what could have been done better. Worth every penny.

The staff were super nice and friendly. The English wasn’t the best but the manager can speak English and all staff were so helpful whenever asked. The breakfast was a good mix of cuisine.

The food was great in the lobby. The hotel was clean and rooms were a nice size and layout. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The WIFI was a disaster. It is so slow, it was impossible to use and restricted access to international tools like Google. Our company runs on google servers and we couldn't access any emails or files. The VPN's wouldnt work and this really ruined my experience of China as I was so busy for 3 days trying to stay abreast of business that the I failed to enjoy the WEF which I was there for. The room service food also came cold.

Unfriendlinesses of the spa hostess. She seems to be more concerned with her mobile phone than giving us the needed information. Rooms were not 100% clean. Corners weren’t vacuumed for ages and general maintenance needs to be done. At first glance all looks clean and perfect but when taking a closer look you see the defects and lack of cleanliness.

Great comfortable beds and room. Lovely decor and setting. Very convenient location to Tianta. A good quality place to stay near to the centre of Tianjin. Most services in the hotel were quite costly as you'd expect for a 5 star like this. Hotel gym ok. Swimming lessons with children going on in the pool until quite late in the evening.
