Breakfast was very good too. Theres no elevator which cikls be an.issue for some people.

This hotel was close to everything in town so finding dinner was not a problem. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with the option of different omelettes. The rooftop pool was small but nice and gave good views of the surrounding scenery. Nothing, everything was good!

Rooms were big, with a huge window overlooking the city which was really cool. The room had AC and was needed considering the high temperatures. Breakfast and a snack is included and that was amazing, great food and service. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Swimming pool isn't big but good enough to cool yourself down, plus is located on the rooftop which has a beautiful view of the city and the mountains. At some point someone accused us of staling a towel? Not sure what that was about but it made my husband feel very uncomfortable and it did spoiled our stay. We looked for the towel and at the same time we could count all the towels in our room so we believe none was actually missing.

The staff is so friendly, they always smile and everyone was very professional and helpful. It's very clean and the roof top bar has a lovely flair with all the plants. The pool is very nice. The whole design of the hotel creates a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is very good you get different options to choose from. You get complimentary water and they have a nice complimentary tea time. Beds are comfy. It's very clean everywhere. I should have chosen e room with aircon. The one with a fan was a bit stuffy, you only have a window in the bathroom. Good coffee is always a problem, so it was just like in every other hotel.

We enjoyed our 6 day stay in Shushupe's deluxe double room. It was a larger room size than most hotels offer in Tingo Maria. The hotel is located right in the heart of Tingo Maria. We were impressed with the wonderful, hospitable, and attentive hotel staff. The hotel has a roof top pool open until late hours with a beautiful view of the green mountains surrounding Tingo Maria. Also on the roof top, we had a generous breakfast included every morning with eggs, plantains, bread, cheese, marmalade, fruits, fresh papaya juice, hot cocoa, and tea. In addition, the hotel provided complimentary bread, hot cocoa, & tea every evening and 4 complimentary water bottles everyday. We will definitely pick Shushupe Hotel for our return visit. As there is no elevator, we got some extra exercise walking up 5 flights of stairs ;)

The staff were unbelievably friendly and happy to go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. There is safe parking attached to the hotel and the bar that is attached also is a great touch. I really like that as a guest you have the option of a quieter evening upstairs or you can go downstairs to the bar. There is no elevator only stairs. Not an issue for us - but maybe for anyone with mobility issues.

the rooms with air conditioning which you need i. the jungle are right over the streets. the windows are not only not sound proof but you can stick your finger through the spaces and mosquitos come in. the noise is unbearable. this was probably the worst hotel experience i have had. it’s a shame because the staff were very professional and friendly. basically it’s a great hotel besides for the rooms….. the windows don’t serve any purpose

Awesome Hotel, can only recommend. Get the room with AC if you're bothered by Amazonas Humidity.

Pool with a view is great and everything is really clean

I booked three rooms, the most impressive being a deluxe room for my parents, as only a few of the rooms have air conditioning. We were surprised to see that the room was large with a beautiful view. Breakfast was amazing! Local fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, granola with yogurt, and both a hot and cold drink. They provided off the street parking in a locked and secure location. This was a comfort as we had three motorcycles and a truck on our trip. It was rainy and chilly in the evening while we were there, so naturally we wanted to warm up in the hot tub. It turned out that both the pool and the hot tub were the same temperature, not warm. The shower temperature was luke warm at best (still warmer then what we would get at home), but didn't allow you to warm up much. During the day, as the temperatures began to climb, it would have been nice to have had air conditioning in all the rooms, however the fan they provided was powerful and cooling.
