Good value for money hostel with separated male & female floors - individual rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Central. Highly recommended.

I want to first thank the staff for their hard work! This hostel had staff members who went above and beyond. The staff were very accommodating and worked hard to communicate effectively. I was very impressed by the professionalism and kindness the staff displayed! I had no issues with the shared bathroom—I actually did not see anyone else use it during my short stay! This was a last-minute booking because I needed accommodation near Oyama Station. However, I was surprised to find that this hostel was more like a hotel. It was one of the best hostels I have stayed in! Interesting perks about the accommodation: - 24 Hour Reception - Free Towels and amenities - Key to store valuables under the bed - Reasonable Check-In and Check-Out time - Friendly Staff - Good privacy - Common lounge - Easy Checkout - Parking - Free Breakfast - Very clean The staff bent the rules for me, so I am thankful for their kindness! I would stay here again if I ever needed accommodation near Oyama Station! It was strange that the smoking room was next to my room. The area must be well-ventilated because I never noticed anything (I was also never disturbed). The booking was very last-minute, so I am sure the staff tried their best! This is not an issue, but the proximity of the smoking room was just something I noticed as a non-smoker. It was just something I was not used to seeing. Otherwise, the room exceeded my expectations, and I felt safe!

However it wasn’t an issue for me as I already knew this.

Location and cleaning was perfect! Men floor has two different doors/area for rooms. One ares hasn’t bathroom. Is totally inconvenient that you need a key for going to the bathroom.

It’s quite convenient clean and private It’s the kind of place only nationals con enjoy its overly saturated with rules and it can be annoying that the staff it’s constantly behind your back checking on you

They take their cleanliness seriously. They also explain everything clearly. Even if you don't speak Japanese, they have instructions/explanations in English. The only thing that bothered me was the inconsideraition of other guests. There are signs everywhere asking to be quiet, but there happened to be one person who just did not care and let doors slam during the night. But when I complained, the staff took my complaint seriously, so I appreciate that.

It would be great if the entrance had a lock and the private room had security. private room had security.

Everything! Staff: Very helpful and very kind. Room: Very clean and neat! Amenities: Simple, but very nice and more than enough for traveller needs. Shower room: clean, very nice bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. Toilet: clean! Breakfast: Simple (3 breads, butter, and jams) + coffee...but served with big smiles and heartfelt hospitality... Strongly recommend!! No elevator.

Spotlessly clean but needs to improve several areas. Very noisy, so many guests inconsiderate of others. Rooms way too bright due to corridor lighting. Dim them. Ain't that hard. I asked but was told not possible Super hot futons in the middle of summer. Offer guests some lighter alternatives. Tiny standing shower room had a seat in it. Makes no sense. Never seen that before. Would I stay again? Even for free? Sorry. Pls deal with these basic issues.

Very clean for all area No individual air conditioning

The staff was very friendly and offered local information. They had free umbrella rental for when it rains, that was quite helpful.
