room too small

Clean hotel, friendly staff. The low rating is mainly due to one issue. I found it very unpleasant and greedy to charge 2,300 yen per hour for early check-in, even when the room is already clean and ready. The fact that early check-in is only possible if the room is ready makes this policy even more frustrating. I arrived from Osaka around 13:00 and was quite tired. The receptionist informed us that standard check-in starts at 15:00. The lobby was crowded with luggage and there was hardly any place to sit. Because of this, we decided to pay for early check-in just to be able to rest. As soon as we paid, we were checked in immediately, which clearly shows that the room had already been available. Charging per hour under these conditions feels unreasonable and is the main reason for my negative rating.

Wish more local restaurant info available

The only good thing is the location being close to JR uguisudani. Within 5 min walk and there is also bus stop across the street that can take you to Asakusa. On the north exit of Uguisudani, there is family mart, seven eleven, don quijote, and matsuya. Very convenient. First, the location. Even though it is closed to JR station, I didnt realized that Uguisudani is the hub for love hotel. We walked on the wrong way on the way to the hotel and we passed many love hotels behind Candeo hotel and also on the side. Staff was not friendly. Maybe 1 or 2 is ok. I came earlier than check-in time, and the front desk told me I can't check in in a rude manner. No hospitality at all, no smile, and no greetings. Room is not sound proof. I can hear my neighbour having s*x and the bed creaks. I am in the 10th floor and I can hear the siren loud and clear. The room is small but ok size better than AP* HOTEL. Hotel still use key lock instead of card key but it doesn't bother me as much. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I dont have a choice.

The beds were not so comfortable

No bad the location No way to control the ac, too hot at night, no working during the day

nice pillow, nice shower, laundry room came in handy a little walk to the train station, but not terrible, however there is no security (person or sensor) and anyone can access all the floors

Location , train station was just 5mins walk and Staff collected the garbage and clean the room Price can be lower since we checked out early and we could not check in early but it was tolerable

Good check-in staff and service; clean, easily accessible and centrally located Close to a lot of love hotels, but not necessarily a changeable dimension or a con, but gives it a slightly less family-friendly atmosphere (it's Tokyo, so there were tourists and families everywhere).

Walls were extremely thin, could hear next to, above and below you. We were on the 10th floor and could hear cars, sirens and people outside as if we were on the bottom floor. Room also had a musty smell and bathroom didn't smell great either. Great for 1-2 nights but wouldn't stay much longer than that.

cost consistent cleaning

Good value for money. Clean and comfortable. Very close to Uguisundani station, or easy walk to Ueno station via the park. Nippori station is one stop away from Uguisundani where you can get the Skyliner to Narita Airport. Staff were helpful, we were able to leave our luggage after check-out. Room was very small but that was to be expected. Being close to the train line meant there was some noise but it was muted and did not keep us awake. Wifi was poor.

Disappointing fair value

The location was really good and convenient with plenty of stuff close to eat and see. Clean room with good bed. The toilet paper was really thin

Standard room was very small and because we were staying for 4 nights we upgraded to a larger room which was very large for not much more cost. Huge supermarket on the ground floor where you could get just about anything. Nothing to dislike.

Good layout of the room, was possible to open clam shell suitcase, comfortable bed, feather pillows ventilation in the bathroom was not very strong

Candeo Hotel is in perfect location, buffet breakfast is excellent that will complete and fully energized your day, and it is very close to train station. None

i like that it is near the train station Some staff is not smiling. Men staff is more accomodating and friendly however there were 2 lady front desk staff (assigned afternoon sunday) is not approachable or did not smile at all.
