HOTEL LiVEMAX Tokyo-Otsuka Ekimae

It was fairly spacious considering it is Japan and rooms are small. The bath was nice. It was convenient and very well located. It was hot and I had to sleep with the window open.

Location Absolutely Great! 5 mins walk or less to otsuka station which is a quiet small place beside ikebukuro station ? Theres Grocery downstairs, Pharmacy, and Lawson near by and tullys ☕️ the rooms space is small but its efficient and its budget friendly! and JR line brings u anywhere u need in Japan.

location was good close to jr railway station bathroom was good enough rooms were clean enough room and double bed was on the small side up against the wall little room to open your bags

last minute booking, staff helpful, let us store bags for a few hours. evacuation due to a room causing a fire in a microwave. could smell it afterwards in our room. no fault of hotel, just careless guests

nil On the second day stay in my Tokyo hotel, my bunny that I bought from Kyoto was missing. At first I thought maybe my room was too messy as such my bunny is lying somewhere. I went to ask the hotel cleaning staff.. they couldn’t answer me as they only speak Nepali, so I went to the counter staff. I used Google translate to talk them and they say they will get back to me. I went at night, the night staff was surprised that this happened and she wasn’t informed by the morning staff to update me on this situation. I went over to talk to the counter staff for the next few days.. in total I talk to about 5-6 staff. None of them said they saw my bunny and promised to get back to me. On my last day, after finish packing every single thing and my bunny still missing. This time when I went to the counter, the manager was there. So I told him that my bunny was missing. His first reply to me was “ my staff has been with me for 2 years, they wouldn’t have took it. This is the first time I am hearing such case.” He became defensive instead of trying to solve the problem. So I replied “ so u trying to say that I am making a commotion for nothing? I purposely come to your counter and talk to different staff during different timing of the day just to get attention?” Then he replied that he didn’t know about this matter cause none of his staff feedback to him, I said “ is it my problem that 5-6 of your staff choose not to tell you anything? Do u see any red flags here?” So after half and hour of dingdong… he finally apologised. I told him” if u have started off with “ my staff might have accidentally threw it away “ I would have understand.. but the fact you pushed away the blame when your customer told you a problem shows a lot. I told him that I don’t believe that customer is always right but your service towards me is atrocious.

The staff were really friendly to me and the place was in a great location The whole place really smelt bad the hallways were the worst when it came to the smell , and the beds weren’t clean either I looked under the sheets theres stains , 2 things you can do to fix these , air out the hallways when you can and always please make sure everything especially with beds is cleaned to top notch quality

Good space in room, good facilities. Comfortable beds. The smell of cigarettes in the hall ways from smoking rooms.

Very good staff, always available, and ready to help. No problem to leave our luggages after the check in or the check out to go visit the city without dragging our luggage, we appreciate it very much. Small rooms but usual in Tokyo, for the very good price, it is a good compromise.
