The hotel had everything we needed and more. They are environmentally friendly and you obtain supplies from the lobby. They offered the standard items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, q tips, cotton pads, moisturiser but they also offered fun items like face masks. The hotel has onsens for women and men. The baths were very clean and the products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, toner and face moisturiser were all very high quality. Cold drinking water is available in the locker area and they have ReFa hairdryers for after the bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The rooms were a tad small but pretty standard for Tokyo. It was around 10 minutes away from the subway which isn't too bad but you could probably get closer if that is something you care about especially with lots of luggage.

Dichtbij metro stration en 7/11 beneden wat heel handig was. Personeel is heel behulpzaam en aardig. Vloer wordt niet proper gemaakt na een aantal dagen was deze heel vuil. Toilet en kamer hadden een rare geur

Location was great! So close to many things, exciting but not too busy and noisy, walking distance to a lot of action, without being directly in too much action. Close to the stations, quick taxi to anything else if needed. Lots of good food in walking distance. I bought breakfast for the next day that ended at either 10 or 11, I forget. But when I tried to enter 30 minutes before the closing time, the dining room was already closed off. That was frustrating to waste money. There were still 30 minutes left, and I suppose that is a Japanese practice to close the dining rooms earlier before closing time, but it's in the hotel... not a restaurant outside. Either way, perhaps that's my fault but it was disappointing with still 30 minutes left. Another thing even more tiring it that the elevators can take FOREVER.

My husband and I are vegan but there were plenty of options for us to choose from at breakfast and we enjoyed all the food very much. Ohagi was one of the things I loved - it was truly handmade and delicious. This was our third time to stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and the staff are always kind and professional. When we asked questions and shared our needs, they really helped us out. They are amazing. When we wanted to have a little snack and tea in our room, there was only one chair, so having even another smaller chair/stool would be helpful.

We like the location and cleanliness and this was our third stay there at Via Inn Prime Akasaka. The room was very small.

Coming from a first time Japan traveler: If you are trying to decide on what area to stay in while in Tokyo DO AKASAKA. The location for transportation is so convenient and it’s so nice to come back to a more relaxed environment after spending your days in Asakusa/Shinjuku/Shibuya. 7/11 downstairs was awesome

The property was beautiful, conveniently close to the train station, and very well kept. There wasn’t anything I disliked.

Great location! Torii Gates park across the street. So close to multiple train stations and great restaurants! Room is a little small

    The rooms were small.

  • Engine customer May 2026

It was very convenient and close to a ton of amazing food and subway stations. The only qualm I have was the pillows, but honestly they weren’t even that bad. I am just used to more plush pillows. My neck never hurt fortunately.

Pretty central area to get around all of Tokyo Small room not much space to open luggage

  • Engine customer May 2026

The hotel is easy access to metro/subway to connect to Shabuya/Shinjuku/Asakusa. The hotel room is extremely small.

  • Engine customer May 2026

The room is quite small, but that was to be expected. However, it was very clean and we had many free amenities by the hotel. The location is good, it is nearby lots of subway stops and there is a big street nearby with many cafes and restaurants.
