I stayed in this wonderful hotel during Pokemon Go Fest Tokyo 2026 and I had an amazing time. It is located in the quiet area of Ikebukuro and it’s perfect for relaxing after a day of roaming around Tokyo. Everything I needed is within reach, there is a Family Mart right beside it, there are two cafés nearby, Cafe de Crie and Doutor. If I needed a quick meal at midnight, there is a delicious 24hr curry and gyudon restaurant right across the street called Matsuya. It’s also just an 8-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station and 3-minute walk from Higashi-Ikebukuro if you prefer the metro subway line. I stayed in a standard single room, and it met all my requirements for a comfortable stay. A clean toilet, clean bathroom, a clean and comfortable bed, a refrigerator. Change of towels everyday and room cleaning. The location of my room is quiet and I slept very well at night. There is a clean and reliable coin laundry available on the 10th and 5th floors of the building that thoroughly washes and dries my clothes which helped a lot as I pack light when I travel. Breakfast is delicious, I loved the freshly baked croissants, croquettes, brewed coffee and miso soup. If you’re planning to stay here, make sure to prepay breakfast because it is very good. The most important thing of all is that the hotel staff are very kind and helpful. It made all the difference. The ladies who prepared breakfast would instantly refill the food if they noticed there are only a few portions left, the maintenance team meticulously cleaned my room and even folded my clothes neatly, if I had requests they can be easily communicated to the very accommodating staff at the reception. Their work and service is topnotch. Overall I had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

Location was amazing. It had a convenience store next door + was just a walk away from train stations & sunshine city mall, uniqlo, etc. So many amenities I did not expect (slippers, robes, hair brush, body towels, green tea powder mix, etc) in the room + 3rd floor lobby Staff was amazing. They were so helpful and polite. We didn't prepay breakfast. Decided to sit down and eat the breakfast buffet one rainy morning and it was delicious (meat cutlets, curry, rice, mini salad bar, soup dispenser, coffee, tea, etc). Other than that, we ate something quicker, smaller, and cheaper at family mart Everything was good. As other reviews mentioned, rooms and bathrooms are small, but they remind me of the interior cabins on a MSC cruise. And beds are harder compared to American ones, but turned out we liked it when we tried them

Friendly staff , felt very welcome

Location is good. I booked on 20 March for 15-19 April, the price is as high as 99K JPY!!! Almost twice compared to other dates, even 1.2~1.5 times higher than 1 May holiday season.

I had a single room which was quite spacious, and with usual room contents, except bathroom amenities which must be picked up at reception. Staff very helpful with check-in through the kiosk machine, and allowed me to check-in earlier than set time. Cafe and Convenience Store at base of hotel building, close to Sunshine City and many eating places nearby. The hotel is a little distant from JR Ikebukuro, but it is close to Higashi-Ikebukuro (Yurakucho Line) station. Street level entrance is a non-descript glass door (between Convenience Store and Cafe) leading to elevator to Reception on third floor. Different elevators take you to rooms, once checked in. Bathroom was bit cramped (as can be common in Japan - I'm western male, just above average height).

    All good friendly and clean

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Location perfect! Clean, small but with all necessities. Service good too! Not much

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Location means easy access to many stores, attractions and the station. Also the self storage lockers located in lobby are great for those checking in or out but don’t want to drag around large suitcases. The narrow elevators make it hard for multiple people with suitcases to use them at peak times.

I wish I stayed longer. I had another hotel that I was staying at before this one. I regret not picking this one first.

There is literally no better location than this. It is midway between sunshine city, ikebukuro station, and a subway station. It is STEPS away from sunshine 60. You cannot compete with this location it was so unbelievably easy to navigate Tokyo from here. The staff was extremely nice and the amenities were good. The bed was a bit hard as other reviews say, but not as hard as other mattresses I’ve had while traveling the Asian continent, so don’t let that throw you off. Really phenomenal stay all around I’ve already recommended staying here to some friends. It’s also right on top of a cafe and a family mart which is extremely convenient. There are hundreds of restaurants within a five minute walk. I loved it no complaints.

Convenient location. Staff very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The small accommodations and travel help by the elevator very helpful. Great cleaning and on time, easy to understand schedule. Bed a little bit too hard. Breakfast food had very little breakfast food, had a lot of lunch or dinner foods, and no variety

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

Variety many items to choose from

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

The room was just to small

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Good and quiet. Coffee not so good

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

My pillow was a little tough but it wasn't too bad.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

Great location. Just a few blocks away from the station. Near shopping area. There is a family mart and coffee shop just beside the hotel. Room is spacious enough for 1 person.

  • Engine customer Aug 2025

The hotel is bit far from the station, especially in the summer heat. The hotel seems fairly new and was therefore in good shape and clean. The bed was a bit hard, but that is a personal preference. I had no problem, but some tourists may not like how far it is from central Tokyo and popular tourist attractions like SkyTree and Disney. But it is close to Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya.

  • Engine customer Jul 2025

Very close to Ikebukuro station and the single rooms are perfect for solo travellers. Rooms were a bit small; no room to fully open a regular plane suitcase in a solo room.
