It’s in a very good spot, it’s very organized, the onset is nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. In order for taking a shower you need to go to the common bath, if you are not comfortable with public nudity it’s not your place.

someone was always at the front desk who could handle everything, even in the middle of the night. the toilets and restrooms were cleaned regularly and meticulously.

staff, location, capsule has a bit more head room than the typical, has all the basics you would need, it is constantly being kept clean, a good value for the money

I had another great choice of accommodation. It’s my first time to book a capsule. It was a great experience especially the amenities and supplies are free flowing: toiletries, comfort, free tea, and best of all the bathroom with sauna, jacuzzi, herbal soak, hot and cold shower. Cleanliness and orderliness are top of the line. The people were extremely supportive, courteous, cheerful, and assistive all the time. The location is just a five-minute walk to Ueno central terminals. Very accessible to all I needed. I will surely book here again when I get back to tokyo. This is NOT a negative comment. As a suggestion, provide private shower cubicles for some who are not culturally comfortable being all open in the common bathroom. shower curtains would be fine. None

Convenient, pretty cheap, and decent onsen/shower area, with towels and toiletries provided. The place was clean and toilets in good condition. To crash for a few hours or just need a bed for a night it’s fine, but staying any longer would suggest a hostel. Very friendly guy on the desk who was professional and helpful. The airflow in the pod was not working and it seems the others in the room were the same. Even though the room was cool, the pod got pretty warm, even with the blind open.

If you want something cheap then this is a thing for you. The cabins are old and you can see that. The mattress was hard.

Capsules are a bit old and ventilation in mine didn’t work.

Temperature was just right and comfortable compared to other Capsule hotels which are sometimes very hot. No Wi-Fi instruction in your bunk. It would have been better if it’s advised on check in or provide an instruction in your bunk. Useless big tv in your bunk that is not going unless you ask for access at reception.

Hostel location was excellent however I think ppl use this hostel to transit before a flight. All day/night people are checking in & out it’s impossible to sleep The rooms were way to hot it Showers were like prison showers no private area. Location is close to many shops, very near to JR Okachimachi. Facilities are clean Value for money 3rd floor capsule room is very hot because the hotel did not turn down the warm air heater from the air-conditioning. 4th floor was very pleasant.

2nd stay at this capsule hotel, this time my capsule room was on the 4th floor, which was very pleasant and cool. The 1st stay was on the 3rd floor, and the capsule room was too hot and I was sweating the whole night. The air-conditioner was switched on to hot-air mode and for some reason, the hotel could not turn it down. Nothing.

The location and price, it's worth considering when you travel alone You have to be patient with the classic and somewhat aged capsule

Everything. Affordable, very clean, and lots of amenities. the onsen and the shower area was relaxing with free drinks. the capsules were comfy and spacious compared to the ones I've been to. The location was a plus too, short walk to local restaurants/food shop and close to ueno station which has the big arcade

The place provide enough facilities. Very perfect for solo traveler. The ventilation system is so bad. Cant breath properly. The capsule is too old. Need some transformation inside.

it has a spa , mini onsen. location is good enough as just across the street is the market area. price is also ok. you have to top up $200 yen for a big locker for big luggage i think one thing in japan is they really follow timing as die die that timing for check in, no early check in possible .the staff here has limited english but can see try their best to comunicate with you.. As with every capsule, it depend on who is staying that night as sometime you had some donkey who just want to whisper in bed when he can do it outside. in a quiet room, small sound can make a difference., so you cant blame the hotel for it.
