Hotel Apreton

Hotel is closely located to the Ueno Station- made travel around Tokyo easy! Good value and basic amenities provided.

Location, convenience, size. Cleanliness could be improved.

Location to the station and activities. Store , restaurant and massage place right next door. Room very basic in the need of renovation. Needs paint , new mattresses , more pillows, updated furniture, bigger tv with at least one English channel. The only hotel in Japan that did not have heated toilet seat. No extra covers on the beds. It would be nice to have blankets and some coffee. Would not stay again.

I brought too much luggage- my own fault!

It’s very close to Ueno station which made getting around very convenient. Having it so close to the Keisei skyliner made it less stressful arriving from the airport since I didn’t have to carry my luggage for long. There’s a 7/11 and a Lawson 1min walk away, great for late night snack runs. Check went smoothly and the staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and small balcony, I definitely would stay here again. Nothing :)

The property was well located near Ueno Station and easy to find. There was no contact with the manager but communication was prompt and clear. The room is small (as advertised). It was very comfortable though. Only one chair.

The bed is a bit soft for my liking, and the water drains slowly in the sink. There is also hardly any room in the living space except for the beds. There also isn't a smart TV as far as I can tell so you can't stream your own shows.

Great location, close to public transport, with plenty of shops and a market nearby. A park is within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean, everything worked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Very good place, convenient contactless system, relatively large pieces compared to other places in Tokyo, good location. I would have liked to have the option to ask for more pillows

It was a terrible experience. I hope that others will not make the decision to stay at this hotel lightly. I regret not reading the reviews carefully when I booked this hotel. I saw the same comments on Google Maps. I sincerely hope that others do not have the same experience as us. First of all, this building is new, so I can give it a good rating. However, the problem lies in the cleaning stage. When I checked in and entered the room, the first thing that caught my attention was the bed. The duvet cover was wrinkled. It was clearly "human wrinkles" from someone sleeping in the bed..? So I pulled the duvet back and there, as I had feared, were several stains on the bedsheet.? There was also someone's hair still there.. This completely summed up my mood.? Since I was staying alone this time, I decided to put up with it and sleep with a bath towel on top of the bedsheet. However, if I had stayed here with my wife, I would have immediately told her to "find another hotel" because I would hate to see her feel sad. This just goes to show how terrible this hotel is. This hotel is making a fool of its customers. I hope many people will read my post and those who have had similar experiences. I hope this will help you choose your hotel. Thank you for reading.

TV in front of the entrance door, hanging by 1 hook out of 2. Everything was yellowish even though it was a non smoking room. Dusty. Towels were useless. You can ear your neighbors pee. Toilet seat was too small for the toilet and kept slipping away...

Very easy for walk to anywhere such as train station, market, park, etc. Comfort and clean. Great communication. Can not leave our luggages. But reasonable for the price.

Self check-in and check-out, big room, perfect location close to Ueno station.

I never saw anyone from Front Desk team and I consider that some kind of greetings would have been nice. However, they answer through messages pretty fast.
