The location is great. So close to Shinjuku Station and to Shinjuku Chuo Park, which is a real gem. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they gave us tea upon arrival. Nice touch. I also like the bidet toilets in Japan in general. The room was clean, quiet and the AC worked well. The bed was very comfy. It's a Japanese style to have to step up to get into the bathroom, and I prefer not to have the step. This is not unique to Kadoya.

Loved the location. Convenient to everything we were wanting to experience. Also appreciate the coin operated laundry facility. We were conveniently located right next to the laundry room. One of the days we were there was rainy all day. We were able to dry our wet clothes. The staff was genuinely friendly. Hotel feels older and could use some up-dating.

Location Black mold all over the bathroom. Owner refused any kind of refund even after showing them photo evidence.

We stayed 4 nights. When we asked for room cleaning, they only made the beds. Nothing else. With 4 people in a room, it would have been nice to at least get clean cups for the used ones.

Room was ok (very small of course). Elevator was fabulous! Location was excellent! Breakfast could definitely be improved. The semi-raw eggs were gross, and 2 tiny pieces of sausage were hardly adequate. The room was very hot and the sign said to open the window. We couldn't figure out how to open the window until the last night when the clerker showed us.

Location and very helpful staff. Room lacked a nightstand and charging ports for one of the beds. Minor inconvenience as I use a medical device for sleeping.

A little more space in the bathroom. The room felt a little bit dated. Small noises at night, on occasion.

Location is near Shinjuku station, if you can navigate out the correct exit. So many things to do nearby in all directions. This is not specific to Kadoya, but there is no early check in. This is minor since it’s easy to drop off suitcases and come back later. The room itself needs extra cleaning in the corners.

Good location in Shinjuku The bathroom is an add-on box with no ventilation, so it always smelled musty. The beds were very uncomfortable. So hard I woke up with a backache every morning. No coffee in room.

Very clean. Very helpful staff. Excellent location If I could recommend anything it would be more variety for breakfast. Although the Japanese breakfast was excellent having some variety over several days would be excellent

Room was so small, bathroom stinks. Seem like we stayed in $50 motel in US.
