Actually it's a love hotel, which is totally not mentioned here. Also there are many karaokes and bars in the neighborhood, and they're very noisy at night. Finally the room is not as clean as the pictures shown.

The hotel was accessible via train, and relatively easy to find. The room had a decent size bed and bathroom. The staff made us wait to the second in order to check in which was allowed from 10pm. The hotel wasn't obviously a Love Hotel, but it's quite clear on arrival we weren't the usual clientele. The huge photo of a woman's genitals above our bed kind of gave that away. It was just a bed for a night and did the job for me and my partner...

Location: I booked this hotel because it is 1 min walking from Gotanda station, just 2 stops from Shinagawa if you need to catch the train to Haneda, and on Yamanote Line (I wanted to visit Shinjuku Gyoen, Shimokitazawa and get back to Haneda on the same day, it was possible without stress thanks to this) Staff: very polite, kind, and helpful Most of the room, especially bathroom and floor, was clean. Amazing bathtub. Cheap compared to the surroundings. I did not understand it was a love hotel (I think), but this is not the problem. However: The room smelled heavily of smoke, I had to spray everywhere, turn on the aircon and fans to make the air circulating. It was midnight and I was tired to do that. And I did not see this information specified There was a stain on the blanket. Soundproof walls, but I could hear someone with heels above me. Internet was not working at all, I had an impending deadline and I had to use my phone as hotspot. It s written on the bed that maybe the signal does not arrive everywhere, but if you write 'internet in the room and the common areas' it has to work.

Close to JR Gotanda station, in a little bit busy and noisy neighborhood, but with many eateries around. My room was on the 5th floor and there was no street noise. There was free water in the room. The wifi was slow.
