Super 8 by Wyndham Topeka at Forbes Landing

Was a nice stay, rooms were clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Did not have alot of options

The girls at the front desk… both the night clerk and the day clerk were not friendly at all. Never even once smiled at me and continued to ask me the same question about my service dog even when I presented her with proper documentation. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to any of my friends with disabilities and has service dogs.

It was a perfect location and very clean The only issue I had was there was not enough Super 8’s along my route home.

I have been staying at this property for 5 or 6 years for a week every summer. Very helpful staff, great easy parking, I plan to stay there next year as well.

The beds were so hard. You might as well sleep on the concrete sidewalk. The carpet is so old, smells and gross. We stopped quick for one night to sleep on our travels and we might as well had kept driving. No sleep had.

It was decent for the price and location The elevator needs attention. It’s very noisy and clunky, questionable operation.

Disappointing. I received a call from the front desk at 7:34AM informing me that I was being fined $150 for smoking weed in my room and it was my word against housekeeper's word - I requested for the manager to come to my room - I had not smoked/vaped, and never have! I called the Consumer Protection Agency at the Attorney General office and was on the phone when "Rosa, Housekeeping Manager" arrived at my room. She told me it was a mistake and they would check other rooms instead. Also, the American Flag is faded and tattered - this hotel serves Forbes Field National Guard! Everytime you leave your room, the keycard is disabled.

A couple of small cosmetic things

When traveling with a pet, pet room smelt like urine and found stains on furniture from I cleaned urine marks. Was almost not able to sleep due to the smell
