Price of parking vehicle overnight. Cramped bathroom.

I paid almost $175 for a breakfast only to have parents allowing their children to have outbursts for more than 20 minutes solid and not removing them. The Royal York is huge. Can we not create another space?

The room was very comfortable. The location was great to everything we did It was difficult at first to maneuver the elevator system. Our tub was soft and spongey on the bottom and moved when we stood on it.

The location was perfect, the entire hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredible in every way. They were helpful, accommodating, friendly, welcoming, and totally efficient . A joy to interact with each of them. I liked everything about the property, but a restaurant serving things like salads, soups and sandwiches , light meals and snacks would be nice. Sometimes a full and/or fancy meal is not what is wanted. Especially for seniors.

The noise level in our room was unacceptable. I believe there was a wedding or some other event occurring at the hotel. It appears the venue was directly beneath our room. Bass from the sound system shook the contents of our room until the early hours .

Wish the room had a separate fridge and microwave, as it's definitely needed.

The Fairmont Royal York Hotel was so close to all the places we went to see. This hotel was awesome nothing else could have made it better.

The building is beautiful, it's Iconic and its right in the center of downtown beside Union Station, which is probably one of the best addresses you can get in all of Toronto. The staff were also excellent, the best part of the trip was the incredible staff team that bent over backwards to meet my requests. I hated the following: - The rooms felt a bit outdated. They were dark, but thats a given in a big city I guess. - The TV's weren't smart TV's, not a big thing, but when budget hotels are coming with smart hotels, you'd expect a brand like fairmont to have the same quality technology in their rooms. - The health club, was my biggest dissapointment. I arrived down at 8pm ish, planning to use the pool, jacuzzi, and just have a relaxing evening. However, there is no curfew on kids in the pool. So you arrive in and there's kids jumping, splashing. There were kids with goggles on swimming around in the hot tub, and it was just a horrible experience, the opposite of relaxing. Not something I expected from the Fairmont Royal York, given its reputation...
