TOP beach, comfortable beds, nice accommodating staff, good breakfast. Swimming pool was closed two days for repairs unfortunately. Also, it was nice and clean, but in need of some good resurfacing all over. Toilet needed its seat fixed. Food in town a bit below expectations, but proximity to Gallipoli and Leuca allows for nice getaways.

The workers spoke neither English nor German. Nothing was explained to us. We did not feel welcome and you could sense the anger of the staff when you came for breakfast etc that they actually had to work. The hotel is not well maintained in terms of facilities. The toilet was leaking and dripping all night. The air conditioning was so loud you couldn't sleep with it on. The lift was missing buttons and the room door would not open fully as it was broken. The online appearance of the hotel does not reflect the reality. This hotel would get two stars in any other normally developed western country. The car park looked like a scene from a horror film, overgrown loose power cables, broken buttons that you are afraid to press because you might get electrocuted. The swimming pool was missing more tiles than it had tiles. The only positive thing was that the pool attendant and the cleaning staff were the only employees who did their job and were reasonably friendly.
