Melia Costa Del Sol

Requested double bed, got 2 single beds pushed together. Water in room was not free & i was scolded for filling my water bottle in the restaurant. No toiletries in the bathroom, you could request them but not sure if they were free, bought my own in the local shop. There are a lot of other hotels on the strip that are not so expensive and would appreciate your business.

Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our view of the pool and sea, and the breakfast buffet is always fabulous, even for vegetarians. The location is close to our favorite walks and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The large outdoor pool is big enough for real swimming and for kids to play in. I think this was the sixth time we've stayed at the Melia Costa Del Sol, and we hope to return next year. We also appreciate that this is not a noisy party destination, but a great destination for mature adults and families. The only suggestion I would make is to allow people to pick up fresh pool towels at 9:00 a.m. (the same time that the pool opens) rather than making them wait until 10 a.m.

Ocean View, nice balconies, modern feel, service A1A. Having a climate-controlled pool temperature would've made a nice difference.

Food is clean Pool view is nice I find the mug in the room left with no clean .. the bath glass from inside was not clean .. the kettle was having white staff inside because of not frequent clean inside it .. I think its small but compared to the price they need deep clean I was expecting so customer experience by helping me when I cutoff my vacation to go back to return me some amount .. but unfortunately The towel as a hotel with resort vibe they need to offer it free but they took a credit and 1 € of you need to change it .. I'm talking about high expensive hotel compared to others who offered those things with a lower room price

Wonderful staff, very welcoming and helpful across the board. Very pleasant and clean public space and facilities. Good restaurants. Sound insulation between the guest rooms isn’t very good. We could hear the phone ringing and people speaking normally in the adjacent rooms.

the bathroom was unusable, and the staff was very unhelpful. After requesting them again and again to sort out a basic facility like a workable shower, all they said was they will look into it. The linen was old and smelly.

Lovely hotel. Spacious, elegant room with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. It was my second time in this hotel, could come back. no luggage rack in the room low pressure in the shower isolation between rooms and from corridor: if you are a light sleeper, take earplugs

Far from beach

- Breakfast options were great. A lot of options for everyone with all dietary preferences - The rooms were beachfront, and the balconies were nice and spacious - The hotel is a beachfront property, and you can easily go for walks on the beach and swim - located near several local restaurants and 25 minutes from Malaga city - Rooms and beds were very comfortable - The main photo of the rooftop pool was the selling point for us, but we realized it was not accessible to the general public, and it was part of the LEVEL Club. The other rooftop pool wasn't ideal for swimming and was situated next to a bar. This left us with access to one pool on the main floor, which was busy all of the time. Very disappointed with the false advertising and featuring the rooftop pool as the main photo on Booking.com. - The elevators were so small and slow, they barely fit 4 people. The smallest elevator we have ever seen. - The rooms could have been cleaner, and they were dusty. - Floors weren't cleaned, and spider webs were hanging from the ceilings. - The Hotel towels cost 30 Euros, which shouldn't cost anything with the pricey nightly stay

All round excellent hotel - cannot fault it at all. Rooftop pool very relaxing indeed! I tried the full board as never done so anywhere before and can say for me eating buffet 3 times a day gets a bit much - there are so many great restaurants at good prices I do recommend getting out and about!

The dinner buffet is not great. Food on the bland side but the desserts were wonderful

Top notch hotel in terms of amenities, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Great location across from the beach. Wifi was spotty at times especially in the terrace. Food selection during dinner can be improved as we found the buffet a bit limited.
