The breakfast was amazing The location, the WiFi in the room, the pool You need to walk for 10 minutes through the dirt and even with flip flops you get all your clothes dirty. The town is very boring, but there's some nice restaurants, but who wants to walk through dirt first to get to a nice restaurant all dirty?

the space and rooms are extremely cozy and beautiful. there was a power outage in the middle of the night and, because of that, we had no water in the morning. The staff didn’t come talk to us and we had to find that out through other guests.

The staff!! Very friendly and helpful at all times. Top class service received from everyone. We got an upgrade to a larger room without request, which was phenomenal. The breakfast was fantastic. Food selections are served to each table, rather than having a large buffet. This is a much more hygenic way to serve breakfast than a buffet. The Pousada is truely beautiful. The buildings are built around trees and it feels like being in the middle of a forest. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. There were no opportunities to dry clothes outside. Other rooms had an outside table with chair, which would have served to dry clothes on, but ours did not. There was neither an opportunity to hang our towels inside the bathroom/sink area. On our last 2 days (we stayed 6 nights in total), there seemed to have been problems with hot water, as the showers were cold.

Pretty vegetation, not many rooms, clean swimming pool. Very generous breakfast, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, omelette & other choices, bread & little cakes. Water, coffee & tea sandwiches & cake available in the reception patio all day. Staff very agreeable & helpful (we communicated through Google translate as I don’t speak Portuguese.) There was air conditioner that worked somewhat so I kept ceiling fan on as well. Super value: I paid US$77 for 2 nights. It’s a little run down. No screens on windows to keep bugs out. The safe in my room was rusty & non-functional. It’s rather far from the Quadrado. They say a 10-minute walk, but I had to take a taxi there.
