San Anton Hotel

our hostess was PERFECTLY hospitable. She offered a beautiful offering of delicious and healthy food. She accommodated my dietary restrictions. She actually went to get medicine for my husband when he was ill. She was so kind and sophisticated at the same time!!! The artwork is resplendent. The decor was subtle and excellent quality. The balcony was a welcome access to outdoor space. I cannot praise the hospitality high enough. It was all perfect and exactly to our liking.

It was easy to park at this property and it had nice art, a outdoor courtyard for breakfast, hot tub on the roof area. The staff was amazing and very helpful, they went above and beyond. The room quality was not reflective of the price of accommodation. In comparison with similarly priced hotel rooms in more exclusive locations, we thought it lacked the quality you would expect at the price point. The bathroom was basic with economic fixtures, as was the furniture in the room. There was no view from the window and our room really didn’t look like the photos on the booking site. We felt it was overpriced. The vibe was more like that of a hostel than a hotel, with individual cutlery cubby’s and individual fridges in a community space. The staff were amazing and very helpful.

The breakfast was good. Typical breakfast for Italy, Meats, cheese, pastries, fresh fruit & coffee. The location was good it's a 5 minute walk to the square. The area felt safe and there was a sense of community. Lack of towel hangers and bathroom shelves.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Sicily! The property is new and modern. We stayed in the Catania room on the first floor and we were surprised to have two bedrooms. One room had a king bed and the other had two twin beds -- our son loved having his own room and bed. The hotel manager, Iolanda , went above an beyond for us. Not only did she bring us some breakfast biscuits and croissants because we had an early flight, but she also saved the day by arranging to bring our passports and wallet to the Catania airport that we left in the safe!!! We were so grateful to her and her staff for acting swiftly and going above and beyond. Nothing!

This hotel is perfect, so cute and comfortable. The breakfast is phenomenal and Iolanda was so helpful and kind to us. The room is very new and spacious.

Beautiful big room finished to a very high standard. Exceptionally well designed. Everything of very high quality. Great host. Great breakfast. The local town is quite quiet.

The building, the room, the excellence of the facilities, the artworks, the books , the attention to detail in this place were wonderful. We were looked after very well by Iolanda: she recommended restaurants for dinner, organised taxis and recommended an excellent tour of Mt Etna and was always available to help. We also enjoyed the opportunity to use the communal area outside our room to prepare snacks. The Sicilian pool and the terrace were an added bonus. Breakfasts were excellent. Entry to the room and building by passcode was user friendly and efficient. The balcony was large and offered nice views. -

A modern, stylish and comfortable boutique hotel. You are surrounded by natural wood, quality contemporary furniture and fittings, beautiful art. The place is spacious with lots of natural light and rooms are lovely. Our host Iolande looked after us very well and was in touch pre-arrival; guided us to the location; recommended restaurants and places to visit. She also upgraded us to a superior room which was outstanding and provided a lovely breakfast. The superior rooms had their own communal lounge and kitchen area giving much more space to relax. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. It is ideally located for visiting Etna and the surrounding villages, countryside and coast, very quiet, yet only 20km from Catania airport. Our only disappointment was that in February during our stay the hotel's excellent restaurant was temporarily closed for renovations. And the outdoor jacuzzi is not in use Oct-May. But that didn't spoil our visit and gives a good reason to return later in the year.

The rooms were very spacious and let the natural light in beautifully. The service was excellent. Iolanda went above and beyond to take care of her guests. She was personable and lovely. Right below the property is a superb restaurant managed by the same owners. Everything was great ?

The service was incredible. Iolanda made our stay extra comfortable. The rooms are very spacious. They have their own restaurant and bar that’s very classy! Our whole stay was beyond our expectations. We will book here again if we do get the chance to come back to Sicily.
