Zero investment in noise cancelation, way overpriced. Breakfast is served in the hall close to where we sleep, u can hear everything..

Be aware the B&B is up a hill from most restaurants and the central old town, but it's on the way to the castle and the cathedral and was great for us.

Davide is a gracious host who serves a light breakfast in the morning, but with the other guests depending on when they were wanting food, we’d wake up to breakfast preparation or chatter from the kitchen—Which is understandable! Being nitpicky

The apartament is on the 4th floor, there are 74 steps to go up.

I thought the location was perfect, as it was within walking distance to most of Trieste's attractions. The room was comfortable, bathroom amenities were clean and everything was in working condition. I appreciated breakfast in the mornings in the shared kitchen space as well. Thank you so much to Davide for being so kind and friendly, he really helped with advice on what to see and do in the city (perfect for if you are in Trieste for the first time as I was). For condition of the room and location of the b&b i felt the price was reasonable and affordable.

For me it was a great pleasure. May be a few stairs could be for a person who is hard to climb them.

​B&B Julia is a fantastic choice in Trieste. The hosts are great and very helpful. The location is perfect for seeing the city on foot and serves as an excellent hub for visiting nearby cities like Venice or Ljubljana. Having access to a garage was a lifesaver for our car. Don’t miss the breakfast.. The coffee is top-notch! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room near the centre. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. Needed to keep the windows closed due to street noise. I would prefer healthier breakfast such as whole grains and fruit.

Great host Davide, very hospital, met us at the door. The location is very central. Very good parking(under the roof). Nice balcony. Certainly great value, with some nice coffee that Davide made for us :)

The host was fantastic. Davide was helpful answering our questions, with parking our car, and having breakfast and coffee ready in the morning. The B&B is very well located and comfortable.

Easy walk uphill from port, short distance from piazzas with many restaurants and cafes 3 floor walk up— but proprietor David enthusiastically carried our bags up and down the stairs

The B&B was very near the main city attractions and there were many options for cafes & restaurants in the area. The room and the bathroom were spacious with all the necessities. There was a small kitchen/breakfast room equipped with a refrigerator, coffee machine, etc. There was also a parking space in the the same building that the owner kindly let me leave my car for a few hours after checking-in out. The owner was very helpful and waiting patiently for me to check-in a few hour after my scheduled arrival. There was a very strong smell in the bathroom probably due the oldness of the building and the plumbing. I do not know if there is a permanent problem or it just happened during the three days a spent there, as it was going away after using the shower.

Davide (the owner) got in touch to offer me a parking spot in his garage. Very generous, especially in Trieste, where parking is hugely difficult to find.

Location is perfect for exploring the city and if coming by car you have free parking space in garage. Breakfast was modest. The entire space is one big apartment which was not expected. It was like time machine....since it is all as original Trieste flat. The positive point is that the host is so welcoming, so assistive that you forget everything.....

The perfect place to stay in Trieste. Just a couple of minutes walk to centro but away from the noise and crowds. You won’t find a better host anywhere than Davide ! So kind and helpful. The rooms are great and he makes you a nice breakfast. And … a private secure parking garage! We absolutely loved it.

The owner has a private garage where we parked our car. We also got a key for the garage, so we always had access to the car. Because the car was safe, we could enjoy ourselves without any worries
