Was relaxing quiet get away Beds were extremely uncomfortable in our unit. The lack of basic amenities such as coffee, salt and pepper was disappointing. Our unit did not have dish soap , dish cloth , pot holders or ice cube trays.

The environment is beautiful and the location is great. We enjoyed calm water and clean beach. Except the alarm around midnight, peaceful and quiet We stayed three years in a row and by coincidence same villa in the last 2 years. Both the villa and the resort are getting old and need significant renovations. Also annoying alarms rang around midnight in most of the villas around and lasted half an hour until someone stopped it. We experienced same issue last year so managed to stay calm.

Location, set up of the villa, openness of the living area, pool and sand. Lots of bugs inside from the moment we arrived. The first night, my son had 4 bites in his face that looked like some sort of spider bite. We found spiders and ants all over the house. Many bites for all of us but the most were to my son in the room he was in. Couch cushions were also very uncomfortable. Visibility in the two master bathrooms at night was uncomfortable. Not very soundproof.

It was our 5th time, the location offers so many options for leisure and relaxation. Great relaxed restaurants and a 45 min drive from Lisboa which gives you a great chance to have a getaway with a vacation feel. Spacious apartments or if you have more people amazing vilas. I booked this time by booking and the language of the type of the apartment so we got one that was not what we expected. The furniture was also very low and seamed for small people, I’m 1,94 tall which made a bit challenging. Very bad pillows also.

Beautifully situated, well appointed, exceptionally quiet. Staff was knowledgeable, helped us to the room with luggage and golf cart. Grounds are beautifully maintained. The beach is spectacular. The buildings are well made, walls soundproof, kitchen and was convenient and gorgeous. No beach towels, bring your own. Off season there are predictable few places to eat and the supermarket is a drive so bring plenty of snacks. Sauna wasn't working during our stay, would appreciate yoga mats in workout area.

We booked a Two-Bedroom Green Villa six months in advance, looking forward to a memorable stay. A day before our arrival, we contacted the hotel through Booking.com, requesting a villa with a pleasant view as we had a special occasion to celebrate and wanted family photos. Instead of assistance, we were informed that photo sessions are only allowed with prior approval because all villas are privately owned. Not the response we expected, but we let it slide. We arrived early, only to be checked into a villa facing a wall by the noisy road, with no greenery in sight. When I requested a change to a villa with a better view, staff refused, citing no availability, even though check-in had just begun. They dismissed my complaint about misleading photos, saying, "The photographs are illustrative only," leaving us feeling misled. Why not categorize rooms by view, like other hotels, so guests know what to expect? After hours of discussions, during which we saw that most villas were unoccupied and guests were being placed in other villas, our suggestion to reschedule our stay was also refused—we were told it would be treated as a no-show, meaning we’d lose the full payment. This was followed by an upsell attempt: they offered us a much better room near the ocean but at twice the cost, trying to sell us on the "upgrade" to an apartment. The apartment rooms were indeed in a much nicer oceanfront location, but we hadn’t planned on spending an extra 300 EUR for this upgrade. Given our special occasion, we reluctantly agreed. During our stay, we observed this upsell tactic being used on other guests as well, which left a bad taste, making it feel as though they were profiting off our dissatisfaction. To make matters worse, after agreeing, we had to wait another two hours for the room to be cleaned. On the bright side: We were allowed a late checkout, which was helpful. The staff at the Moana bar was fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. Finding the WiFi password required a call to the reception to locate a small box with the router and the password—a complicated and unnecessary hassle. Unfortunately, the hotel facilities are outdated. Our expensive room lacked hot water, so we had to shower in almost cold water. In the spa and gym, most equipment was either broken or in poor condition. Of the two saunas, one was out of order, and the other had broken steps and glass that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The gym equipment was visibly old and worn out.

Location, staff kindness Bit “sandy” the floors of the villa. No hot water one morning. Minor things.

Great property - beautiful area. Nice houses/villas - very spacious. Restaurants serve decent food!!! Especially great direct beach access One can feel thatbthe resort consists of individual owners. Also restaurants are all doing their own thing. Night bar - or a place to come together is missing. Got 2-3 Club houses, but no bar or entertainment. Was quite “cold

Great house with 3 bedrooms and an equipped kitchen and a private pool! Beautiful location. Peaceful and green. Lovely beach. Moana restaurant has a great view! The cot had a mattress which was too soft for a baby and didn’t go all the way to the edge of the cot which made it unsafe. (See photo). So our baby had to sleep on a bed with us…
