Staff was very nice and helpful with any questions we needed, and made things very convenient considering the tight schedule we had with tours. They packed our breakfast to go and also brought breakfast to our room which helped us make it on time for the tours. Rooms were very clean and nice. During one of our outings we had problems with transportation before our check out and without a problem they extended the time and allowed us to do a late checkout. The only problem we did notice was that when we booked it said the airport shuttle was included, but it was not. The person who picked us up and drives us to the hotel was a third party which we were not expecting.

Our stay at the Layla Boutique Hotel was very good. The hotel is beautiful with a very unique architecture. The location is perfect as it's near the center of Tulum and very accessible. One of the things that we liked the most was having our included, free breakfast by the rooftop pool. The view up there is magical, especially at night time. Furthermore, the front staff was courteous and helpful. They interacted with the guests very well. One of the bartenders/servers, Marcos, was very respectful, kind, and thoughtful. He served our food with enthusiasm and loved engaging his clients in good, meaningful conversations. He served mostly at the rooftop bar. Finally, the property manager, Paola, was considerate, soft-spoken, and very professional. We had a little hiccup during our stay, and she quickly responded to the situation with respect and patience. I would recommend staying at this lovely hotel in tulum. It's magical. N/A.

Property is absolutely gorgeous and very well placed to coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and great local Taco spots. The front desk staff were absolutely the best, they went above and beyond, specifically Elena and Catalina, they were gems and truly made our stay terrific, so helpful and sweet.

I’ve been to Tulum many times and this was the first time staying at this hotel. By far the experience had mad huge difference comparing to my previous visits. From the moment I stepped in to the reception until check out, the service was over and beyond. Great customer service by all staff from the front desk to the housekeeping to the room service to the bar staff. They truly made my stay enjoyable and memorable. Very close distance to anything you need in downtown, also they offer many options that suits your needs, whatever they might be. This by far is the best hotel in Tulum I’ve ever been to. You won’t go wrong by choosing them.

Stylish and clean. Quiet. Beautiful rooftop area with pool for breakfast. Need to park on the street.

Great location and the roof top was a nice little get away.

Layla is a beautiful boutique hotel, close enough to restaurants and stores to easily walk, but far enough away to be quiet and feel local. During our stay (9 nights in 2026) the staff, from management to cleaners were all very friendly, willing to help or just chat, whilst working dilligently and professionally. Frankly, we were blown away by the entire operation, which made us feel at home, as if nothing was too much to ask. We loved it, and we'll be back. The breakfast menu was a little small, but the food was good.

Location was good, close to a lot of great restaurants. The design of the hotel is nice, the room and amenities look a little worn but everything was still functioning and clean overall.

Amazing property in the heart of Tulum. It’s a fairytale property. The water pressure in the shower is impressive. Nothing really

Layla hotel is very well located and the hotel has everything you need for a perfect stay in Tulum. Staff is extremely helpful, kind and supportive. Their partnership with Sana Hotel is also a plus. I strongly recommend staying at Layla. Everything perfect. Rooms are exactly like in the pictures, breakfast is very tasty and hotel is very beautiful. They exceeded all my expectations!

Layla is a special place that exceeds expectations all the time. The owners and the team have done the work of being some of the best people in the world. This is where you want to stay if you want to be near downtown! There is nothing that could be improved. Everything is perfect, everyone is amazing. Thank you very much!

Really everything was fine. There is an small elevator that goes to the upper floors but the staircase is also small with lots of turns. Maybe difficult for some people.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Layla Tulum for a solo trip and I can confidently say it was one of the most accommodating and comfortable hotel experiences I’ve had in years. A special THANK YOU to Anahi and Carlos at the front desk. From check-in to check-out, every aspect of my stay was handled with thoughtfulness, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make me feel at home. Absolutely nothing

The included breakfast each day was a perfect start to the day. The eggs were seasoned and fruit/juice were fresh. The staff was very accommodating, helped setup taxis, reservations, and a great source for ideas. I believe there are only 12 rooms so they are able to spend a lot of attention to your needs. We were also able to meet the owner and he was very nice. The hotel is a short walk from restaurants and nightlife and always felt safe. Would definitely stay here again. The rooftop pool was a little warm.
