Tulip Inn Turin West

Decent hotel with clean, spacious rooms in a convenient location from the highway passing by Turino. Plenty of on-site parking. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and probably will do so again in the future. The restaurant is only open Monday through Thursday. This was disappointing twice now, as one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the on-site restaurant. Our first stay was on a Thursday, but there was a convention going on, so the restaurant was closed. The second time was a Saturday; this was when we learned the details of the schedule. However, there are two other restaurants not too far away in the same industrial area.

The hotel was in a convenient location from the motorway as we were continuing our trip the following morning. The breakfast buffet was good for a reasonable price (€10 per person). Free parking in the outside lot. The restaurant at the hotel was closed to customers because of some kind of DeWalt tools convention. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the co-located restaurant. The clerk directed us (and other guests) to another place just a walk down the road, which would have been fine IF that restaurant had been open. We had to find another place to eat (there were many, but nearly all closed) and eventually came across a kind of trattoria at a local sports club. The food was good for a reasonable price. Also, our room was VERY hot when we checked in (29 C) and there was no air conditioning. They did not turn on the a/c system until later in the year. They were nice enough to find another room for us on the shady side of the building, which helped a lot, but we were lucky that one was available.

Not new, but all you need, everything was there, in the room, in the bathroom, I was amazed. Very good breakfast. Good value for the money. Parking for free. Enough space. Nothing!

The breakfast was excellent although a bit early for us. We had the set dinner which cannot be faulted.and very food value for money. The surrounding grounds were lovely though on the middle of commercial area. Coat hangers in the room were difficult and a lack of shampoo and shower caps et c.

The staff was outstanding, though locating the entrance to the parking garage was a bit challenging. The room was satisfactory, and the pricing reasonable. I intended to request a queen-sized bed but ended up with two separate beds. The comfort level of the beds was average.

We loved tasty breakfast, with quite some choice. Room was large enough, the bathroom was big and nice, with a bide. There were a kettle and tea and coffee bags in the room. Staff speaks English and are very kind and helpful. There is a big parking space around the hotel. The location of the hotel is near the motorway (autostrada), it is easy to find. The location of the hotel is in an industrial, dirty area. We advise against walking there. It was impossible to get something to eat in the area. We understand now we should have had dinner at the hotel restaurant.
