Al Porta Susa B&B

Owners were very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The room was clean and comfortable despite the very hot weather in Turin! Bathroom was also clean. Very good position close to the Turin Porta Susa train station.

Beautiful building. Comfortable facilities as described and location ideal for my travel from Porta Susa station. External en suite was unusual and I wished I’d had a dressing-gown in my tiny suitcase but managed fine. Breakfast was great at local cafe and ate like a local at restaurant recommended by Marco nearby.

Marco is so friendly and helpful! We were trying to send a package home because we bought too much and he let us use his stuff and offer help!

Exceptional B&B, location ideal near the centre with public transport and railway in front, quiet and spacious. Owner Marco recommended dinner at L'Oca Folà, cucina Piemontese well worth a Michelin star. If you like beer go to Lambic or try the Scottish pub next door at nr. 25 That I stayed only three nights. Will do better next time.

The accommodation is in a beautiful old apartment situated very close to Porta Susa railway station. The location is excellent. Breakfast was taken in the nice cafe next door and consisted of croissant, juice and coffee which suited us well. Marco was a perfect host and we enjoyed listening to him practice the piano. Altogether a perfect couple of days and we loved Turin. We liked everything

Quiet despite being on a main road. Very clean and modern bathroom even though it is a period property with old school cage lift, doors and painted ceiling in hallway. I was in Beethoven room and you do have to cross hallway to get to bathroom. Heating was good and room warm even in cold November Would have been nice to have own room kettle.

Passable

The whole building has loads character, something you don't get when staying in a faceless chain hotel! The location was perfect for my early train from Porta Susa station. It was also good for visiting the attractions of Turin. The room was large, with plenty of storage and the separate but private had a roomy shower cubicle. A kettle in the bedroom, so I could make myself a coffee in the morning, would have made it perfect. The host was friendly and provided useful information about Turin. My preference is for a soft flat pillow and a firm mattres. The pillow was good but the mattress was a little soft for my liking. Nothing that would stop me booking this accommodation again, though.

The property is in easy walking distance of Porta Susa railway station and all that Turin has to offer. Marco is an excellent host, very helpful and made us very welcome to his beautiful home. The property had everything we required for our stay.

Very clean and close to metro and trains. Excellent value overall. Nothing that I didn't like.
