The staff were incredibly kind and provided courteous service. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location where you can experience the local atmosphere of Turin, and the staff recommended some excellent local restaurants. None for now

Small and convenient hotel in a quiet side street, good beds, simple but good breakfast Bathroom is very basic and a bit worn out. The lift is rather noisy. Also you hear any noise from the staircase or the load TV on the ground floor. They ask to always leave the key behind when going out. However, the keys are then left freely accessible to anyone.

Location is nice, away from the center so it's easy to find free car parking in the streets around the hotel. Hotel Balbo also offer parking in their courtyard for 5€/night. And just 5-10 minutes walk to the metro, which takes you to Torino center in another 10 minutes. Low price for the metro! Very nice breakfast with really good cake selection, almost too good (and I probably gained weight ;) I'm guessing this is a family run hotel or something? All the staff are middle aged and very nice and helpful. 2 dogs are hanging around in the lobby. It feels familiar but still professional, it's a real hotel. The room was very clean and had nice furniture, especially the antique desk was very nice. Torino is such a beautiful city with so much to see! spend at least 2-4 nights in this hotel. The smallest shower cabinet I ever used. When washing one is banging against the walls constantly. I understand space is limited, but I would've opted to remove the bidet and instead have a much bigger shower. No shelf to put shampoo/soap but used the bidet for that and had to open shower door again & again. Everything in the bathroom is tiny except the sink. Toilet + bidet are smallest ones ever - but of a cute round design!
