My son and I were in Tuscaloosa for a baseball tournament. Check-in was easy and breakfast was decent. That’s the only positive I can say. The hotel is rundown and filthy. The WiFi was not working and the staff did not care to fix it, and I was supposed to be working from the room so I didn’t have to burn a day off. Because of this, I did. There were people using the pool that obviously weren’t patrons as I witnessed them unloading vehicles and reloading when they were done. I have never been more ready to leave a hotel in my life. Unfortunately for other Choice hotel properties, I will never book with them again. I called their customer support and they said there was nothing they could do with a local property. No exaggeration, the worst hotel stay of my life and I’m in my mid forties and have stayed at many.

The lady that checked us in on arrival.. The rooms were not what I expected,. One of the rooms the knob came off, the air conditioner was not working well, the key to that room had to be reset the whole time. The staff for the breakfast area was very rude. . It was not what I expected

The carpet in the bedrooms was disgusting, bleach stained, and torn in several areas. Everything towel we had in the room had multiple hairs in them
