Located in the center of Tux, das Alois 4 Sterne Superior is next to the Eggalm Cable Car, which provides direct access to the Zillertal 3000 Ski Area, and 4.3 mi from the Hintertux Glacier. It offers a spacious spa area and a free sports program. The spa area features an indoor swimming pool, 3 saunas, a steam bath, a sun terrace and a relaxation area. There is also a fitness studio and a gymnastics room. Massages are available on request. The das Alois 4 Sterne Superior sports program includes guided hiking and mountain bike tours, as well as yoga. The Alpine-style rooms and suites feature a balcony, a seating area, a TV, and a bathroom with bathrobes. The restaurant serves light and healthy cuisine, including a healthy breakfast buffet. We have 2 daily switching menus, one of them is VEGAN. Fresh fruit, juices and nuts are provided free of charge at the pool.

Spot clean, great shower, great breakfast. The bed was too soft, and also the pillows, but all the rest made up for that. A jacuzzi would be a great upgrade

The place is perfecf !! The people are very nice! The food is great ! It s quiet and it s a place where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature in a very pleasant way! I can t wait visit it again !

Staff in the hotel is very very friendly, restaurant is good. Breakfast is rich and dinner has options and consists of several dishes. Swimming pool and sauna complex is cozy and have everything to rest with and without children. It seems it is very modern (or recently renovated) like in best European hotels. There are several bergbahn's nearby, the one in Hintertux is most admirable. The room. I mean it is OK, has everything you need, very clean and bed is very comfortable. But for that price I expect something more spacious and maybe modern. We had a room with balcony, but it was not private, just a common terrace. And we could not exit on it because the door was blocked by children's bed. As I wrote there are not much space inside so it was a bit stuffy at night. So this room suits hotels with 150-200 euro per night, not for this one (600 euro). There is no even basic playground for children outside. Just a swimming pool and some sunbeds around. Restaurant is great and tasty, but it looks like ingredients are common ones. Some hotels (in this price range) try to use products from local farms or even grow up something (like salad). This one does not do or does not tell about that.

Breakfast in hotel was of high quality. We have had looking for the moment we get to the table and choice of bread, cheese, bacon and salami, yoghurt, eggs was fantastic. The dinner was real culinary experience. We have appreciated the choice of meals, including every dinner the fish and some nice meat. Variety of salads was extraordinary. Unfolding sofa for 2 kids was with quite hard surface for sleeping. Otherwise the size of double room for 1 adult and 3 kinds was very good.

Absolutely stunning experience. I was feeling at home. Perfect service, wellness activies and every day wonderful dinner with 5 course degustation menu prepared by a rockstar chef. Great location, really close to the shuttle bus for Hintertuxer Gletcher. Also just next to the Eggalm skiing resort (not as good as Hintertux).
