Bhuana Shanti Homestay Ubud

The thing I like most is the bed. It is very comfortable. The mattress is firm but has a thick topper, which makes it feel softer. Most importantly, there is no disturbance from movement on the other side of the bed. The unit is exactly as shown in the pictures. I really appreciate the accurate visuals of the unit.

THE ROOM IS VERY SPACIOUS. WE HAD THE WHOLE PLACE TO OURSELVES. IT WAS A FAMILY APARTMENT. IT HAS TWO ROOMS WITH INDIVIDUAL BATHROOMS. IT IS LOCATED ON THE GROUND FLOOR. BUT IT HAS A TERRACE AT THE BACK WHICH MAKES THE PLACE VERY WONDERFUL. YOU COULD WAKE UP TO THE BRIGHT FRESH SUN. The place is very serene. The apartment has a queen bed on each room and has a couch outside. They have a kitchen area to cook and dine. They have a refrigerator and water dispenser. It was like staying in an apartment. This place is good for groups.I LOVED THE HOSPITALITY OF THE OWNER BAGUS AND HIS FAMILY. THEY SERVED OUR FOOD EVEN IF IT WAS ALREADY LATE. MY FAMILY AND I ARE GRATEFUL. The construction at the main entrance. But it was acceptable for a progressing business.

the beds

They are such a beautiful family who were super welcoming! From the moment I arrived they picked up my suitcases and showed me the place. They made me feel like family. Nothing was too much. If I needed something, they would bring it straight away. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone I know visiting Bali.

The room was big and clean. I had a room upstairs, and the jungle view was amazing. Breakfast was alright. Wifi worked fine. The Balinese family living in the compound shared some fresh snacks with me :) There is some serious construction going on around, but it wasn't too noisy.

My two friends and I had a great stay with Bhuana Shanti. The hosts were lovely, helpful and welcoming, and the unit was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included in our stay, and it was beautifully presented with lovely fresh fruit offered as well ? Great value for money. I would highly recommend staying here.

They are constructing a very large new building between the street and Homestay plus new building right behind so it was not a peaceful garden setting as viewed in pictures.

Lovely staff, helpful and available. Lovely and quiet apartment very near the centre, we could safely walk downtown even at night . This is not your normal stay, it feels like you are walking in one of the locals'homes. We loved seeing first hand the culture and traditions of this family, and eat their delicious pancakes. They are building at the moment, but our accommodation was not affected by it. Only one towel per person was given, not a big problem, but it would be nice to have a back up/fresh towels after 1 day.

close to the center of ubud yet so quiet. the room is massive. they clean the room everyday, the breakfast is so good and the staffs are always smiling.

Breakfast was in a different location which was nt mentioned while booking. There was no water for drinking and bathroom needs renovation .

Some facilities.

Place was clean. Breakfast was nice. Daily house keeping and it was nice and spacious. The aircon wasn’t very good and in the other bedroom the fan was shocking.

Helpful and friendly staff, a good location, and a tasty breakfast. They help with arranging transfers to the airport, renting a bike, and a lot of other minor questions.
